I'm hoping someone can tell me if Siberian Ginseng and Suma would be okay for an "O" Explorer.  Any input would be greatly appreciated.

So, does that mean that those 2 things are okay for AB nonnie only, OR, you know they are okay for you, but don't know about any others?
If that's the case, can anyone else chime in?  I'm looking at an adrenal support supplement that Sibereian Ginseng and Suma are in along with 4 other herbs.  I know the other 4 are okay for me, but not sure about the 2 I'm asking for help with.

Are those herbs found in any product that DPN sells "for all types" or "For Os" or "for Explorers"? Are the herbs mentioned in any of the protocols for Os?

There is, unfortunately, not a complete herb listing available anywhere. With some sleuthing, we can find the herbs that are OK for our types. But if an herb is mentioned only for another blood type, there's no way to determine if the herb is unsafe for us, or just "unlikely to be beneficial".

or, I would add, perhaps Beneficial but not yet published as such.

Dr. D'Adamo has not researched every possible item one might ingest.

Right, plus an herb could be "generally not useful for people with your blood type" but still be useful for you personally. For example, most Os have lots of stomach acid and most As have low stomach acid. An herb that increases stomach acid would be recommended for As but not for Os- but an individual O with low stomach acid would  benefit from its use.

Siberian Ginseng is an adaptogen that Dr. D recommends for type B's and he recommends Rhodiola for type O's.  But as it has already been said, that doesn't necessarily mean we can't cross over (if he hasn't said otherwise).  I personally take both, but my body seems to benefit more from the one Dr. D recommends for my blood type.

I like your point, Ruthiegirl.   Victoria, I take Rhodiola regularly and have for quite awhile.  I wouldn't take the Siberian ginseng by itself, it just happens to be in an adrenal fatigue combo that I thought looked promising.

I took it awhile and it gave me anxiety and irritability.  Explorers can be sensitive to stimulants especially.  Of course, i was a 28 year guy at the time and did not need it probably.  Not sure how blood type plays into this.

American ginseng is prob better for regular use it is more cooling.  Siberian is a warming herb i think.

It is good for if you over work or overtrain, or if you have a lot of fatigue.
