Helloooooooooooo!

I finally managed to convert someone to BTD!!!

A pal from my martial art school who posted on FB once that she wasnt too well, and I told her to try the BTD, never thought about it since...

Today she messaged me thanking me for the suggestion, saying she feels so much better!!!

I'm just glad

Yea!  Wish we could all say that.

The closest I ever came was to suggest to a man who was middle aged, on a diet, and couldn't drop the last 5 pounds, to stop eating red meat and stick with poultry and fish since he could tell me he was an A.  Weeks later I saw him and he was happy about the advise.  He had dropped those last 5 pounds.

How comes our extended families don't listen?

I have my 3 kids on the BTD (to varying degrees of compliance.) I have yet to convince anybody in my extended family or circle of friends. I'm not pushy if I get the sense they're not interested.

Oh, wait, not entirely true. My ex husband started following the BTD based on discussions at the dinner table, and (to an even greater degree) my posts on Facebook. And another one of my friends has joined one of the FB groups about BTD. She's very natural health oriented and her whole family is gluten free, but I can tell they're not strictly on BTD because of the number of pork recipes she continues to share. But she's interested and respectful.
