Hello my dear fellow UK Explorers and other Swami followers!

Have any of you by any chance managed to find a starch and sugar free manufactured turkey bacon?
Ocado used to sell one, but they've taken it out....

Or even compliant turkey ham or chicken slices?

Please please please

you can get a non complaint one in sainsbury's, tesco and asda. it's 1.99 in the fist two but only 1.75 in asda.

my thinking is it's better than normal bacon. i am soon going to try making my own but haven't got any spare time at the mo.

You can make a decent tasting bacon substitute by slicing drained extra firm tofu very thin and marinating it in wheat free Tamari and then fying the thin slices crisp.

I think it's pretty tasty.

So no compliant turkey bacon found in the UK so far....
I wonder if our fellow dieters in the US have some available?

Good turkey bacon (nitrate, etc. free) is made from turkey thigh, which I find to have more flavor than breast anyway. Those of us lucky enough to have a Trader Joe's nearby can find turkey bacon.

It is not my responsibility to convince anyone of anything.
