I do not understand, I was doing great, no worries no sorrow, yet the last few weeks I feel depressed again.

I am at witts end.. I had felt great aftter taking TC and it lasted over the 1-2 years.. but suddenly I am miserable and tired all day again.

I am going to start on TC again all by it own.. no other sups...  I am hoping it will just be a glitch..

Anyone else having the blues?  for holidays, or other reasons? what to you do about it?

Goldie, sweetheart, I think this is an individual/personal matter; your simple post is not something I feel I can address over the Internet. Can you talk with a friend, perhaps?

Did anything change recently? Did you eat something you shouldn't have over Thanksgiving? Change your exercise routine?

Remember that it's normal to have ups and downs. You're past the point of monthly cycles, but your body will still want to alternate "active" times with "quieter, more reflective" times. Feeling blue is sometimes a sign of a chemical imbalance in the body, but sometimes it's simply a result of "needing a good cry but not letting yourself have it."

I was thinking along Ruth's reasoning, Seems everyone is so busy, no time for reflection. The weather getting colder and days shorter. Seems this is the time for the blues.  Didn't you have surgery not long ago? Or just the coming down of stress with the big C. I would never want to minimize your feelings or second guess your health. Just some thoughts for you as you look for answers

Magnesium helps some people. You might want to consider if mineral balance could be an issue for you.

Goldie {{{{{hugs}}}}  I'm so sorry you're feeling depressed....

Are you getting any exercise? You can  naturally raise your level of dopamine (a happy, feel good neurotransmitter for Os) by getting some exercise.

I would suggest you call the clinic for some professional input.  You really shouldn't try to assume
this is something deeply emotional because chemically something might be off and need adjusting.

You've had surgery, radiation plus probably were put on an antibiotic after surgery (most everyone
would be). I usually wind up with candida after an antibiotic and that usually causes depression...Although
a good cry would be helpful if this is related to your recent medical experience, if not, I'm hoping one of the NDs could give you their very best advice.

Goldie, so sorry to hear you're feeling depressed Are you able to do yoga? I find it is a great help to me when I'm feeling down. Also try to maximise the time you can spend in the daylight. Darkness at this time of year is depressing for a lot of people. If your medical regimen allows it, take plenty Vitamin C. Be gentle with yourself, you've been through a lot. Hope you will soon be feeling better again

Wow ... right on.. if only a good cry would help.. I would have loads to cry about, but then also so much to be greatful.  The strong emotions both ways are possibly the biggest issue just now. maybe that tug of war is messing with me.  I might just feel a little better just with your words.

As for Magnesium, I am taking it, but the blues almost co-insided with me taking the tripple M -when I started to feel crappy.  But that must be co-incidence.. It is the food, but also the frustration of not understanding the why of cancer.  Oh Yes I know, all in my fam have it, but why, even with BTD?  NO its not the BTD that gave it, but pushed out the getting Cancer pushed out way farther, that I am certain of.

I am frsustrated and feeling out of 'having' control.  Its not the cancer that bothers me (no issue with that- I grew up with cancer all around me) but the matter of fact that it is supposed to be a big deal.    What is the big deal about it? that is what I do not get.. it is bejond my reach to figure this out.  Interestingly I was foretold that I would have surgery last spring!!!!.. I also was told I would be OK ... Darn it I never remembered that  until just now.

Oh well this will get better, and OH YES the non BTD foods make all the differences.. I know I would say that to anyone else who used the same thread words.. my own words would hount me.

OK, I am going to set up a appointment with my sot-sayer.. understanding solar transitions will give me back 'control' equal to 'understanding.'   Some things are the way they are, and that is all there is to it.  (I have a great master in fortelling some things.... and ending some things as well.

At this time in my life many who matter to me are leaving, or going away, and some of them are tragic and others a blessing, but the loss is still there.  I feel everyone who is gone before as if it was yesterday.  I just wish we could talk, or laugh, or visit over coffee.  I have no one to have a coffee afternoon with.  No one in my life is interested in such on event.. I miss that, used to be nice with old friends who made time for a cup of whatever.

I will take TC again all on its own and hope that it will have that uplifting effect it had January 2012.  The trobble with some things that made me feel bette rthen and there, is not always able to be duplicated, the'high' is commonplace, and the blues have power of their own.  Thank G.od I do not have heavy depression, just feeling blue.. Oh well! At least I had good days to remember..  and they will come back again.  I will work toward..

Thanks for the pity party, I think I will feel better now..

Interestingly, I could not have said the same words this morning, You ALL made it easy now.  Thanks from the bottom of my heart!

I'm sorry I didn't get to come to your house before I came to Houston. Since I still have menses I still notice things "never feel right for a day or two" like I can't pinpoint it. But most of my personality change for winter has to do with enough Vitamin D and omega 3's. Not even necessarily magnesium.

Dearest Goldie, sorry to hear you are feeling "blue"...with all you´ve been through it is perfectly understandable. Definitely the shorter colder days affect our mood,I go along with the suggestions of adding Vitamin D and omega 3´s,if you don´t already.

An Ayurvedic practitioner told me many years ago not to hold back tears..a good cry is always ´cleansing´I find!!

But as for no-one to have a "coffee" with...I would dearly love to have a "cuppa and chat"  with you if it weren´t for the small obstacle of the Atlantic   But is there no-one in your neighbourhood you could even ´call on´who may be feeling more isolated during these darker months?

Hugs

Sorry you're feeling down and hope you're feeling better soon.  Good advice from others, and as they have said, Winter, Christmas can be depressing times for many, on top of other things, it's so dark and gloomy when you look outside.  Hugs to you (((Goldie))) xx

Goldie,
Losing people, no matter how you lose them is tough.  They leave gaps in our lives.
And if they leave us tragically even harder.
I experienced a few this summer and can relate.
I think those feelings around loss can sneak up on us.
Journaling an be helpful.
take care,
Lin

Wow so many helpful words.. Thanaks loads.  You are my coffeclatch friends that is why I posted my trobbles here.  Virtual green tea, I like that.

Well I took my own advise and last night I took TC and felt better for hours, even stayed awake til midnight.  That D-Ribose is wonderful, just I think I need to take it early in the day and not after 3pm.. the old thread would have told me so...  I took some this morning and felt Ok all morning and now it is afternoon and time for another spoon.

I also have on appointment on Friday with my astroglogist.. .  I mean he told me in April that I would have to be careful around driving.. ha, and I crashed my car into a tel pole while driving 5 miles on hour.. looking at construction, nver feeling the one second driving off the pavement and into the (most) close tel pole which was only a foot on the side of the road.  Had I driven reg speed that would never have happened.. haha

Then the tragedy of a lost young person on 4 july, and soon after my brother being released from this earth, and my cancer, oh well the stars really did foretell that and he correctly advised (interpreted) that I would be ok... even while dealing with health for the next decade even though I would be ok... I mean all in all... interesting to say the least.

I think remembering all that was the key to feeling ok with the answer of why, why now, why, where?  If it is the stars then at least I do not have to feel guilty or responsible for having overlooked some thing.. I think indirectly that was my question of 'why, when, where'..   the answer seems so comfortable and making as much sense as all the other conversations I had.  Oh well providence..

good thoughts and expressions PCUK and I'd like to add to come along with the *healing mushies* ...

and as long as you identify yourselve with *your cancer* oum sigh... perhaps better to get into a certain openess and implement the following: my body shows up symptoms like...... so far so well you're giving yourselve all oportunities to heal!!!

I love the sentences of Don Miguel Ruiz so much: *be impeccable with your words*
*don't take anything personally*
*don't make assumptions*
*alwasy do your best*
*be sceptical but learn to listen*

c'mon Goldie shatzala, this isn't that hard to come along with changes... you can *do it* ...

p.s.

btw... no-body is...and no-body has........ anything

I love truth, I can deal with facts, I have no issues with what is or has to be.  I am a realist, and I deal with what is today. Nothing more.. I spend my time getting on with life, never looking back nor much forward.  Ilearned to live in the moment - as that is what is real.

The cancer, like I said my family tree is full of that fruit, but also full of healthy survival.  My mom showed us kids how to leve life with all it has to offer, I saw... and I do the same.  We live what we see.

I am feeling much more in control of my day, I am taking TC twice a day, and it helps greatly... interestingly it's effects lasted for month after I stopped taking it.  Yet my sun sign is important to me.  I had counseling some many years ago that unloaded all guilt off of my shoulders.  It is not as if I followe the words, as is apparent in the fact that I forgot them, yet when I remembered the FORtelling then it took away loads of questions, and that is how I used the 'stars' wisdom.

He is the cheapest of all supps and advise, and just maybe this time I really had questions and answers no other doc. came close to even talk about.  Other people just have no clue what MY questions where, and so their advise no matter how good landed in the pail of frustration within me.

Now I am calm, seeing my truth, and living my good life-- as I would have done any way- but now I am at peace.

Thanks all I appreciate your love.... and thanks for the many 'coffe and tea leaves, read for me on the here and now. THanks!

I learned something today.. Stress comes from adrenals, and I seem to stress many times of the day, therefore I also make hormones that are not good for me any more- related to breast cancer... So no caffeine any more .. now I have a 'reason' with UNderstanding.

Interesting.  I discovered it after sitting a while to relax my shinsplints after morning mile.

Goldie shatzala...since I've implemented those sentences into my life... huge changes took place, incl. that I'll gave a try and still exercise on this; to take me and my needs for more guaranted and serious and that others are others but I don't need to fulfill always their needs first ... yyyeeehhhaaa even with 56 years... I'm able to change and to learn how NOT to practise...

I'm linking Dr. D's thread about trehalose and it's anti-depressive effects for those who might have
missed reading it.

http://www.dadamo.com/cgi-bin/Blah/Blah.pl?m-1374595814/

Goldie, are you using the DPN trehalose complex or just plain trehalose?

PC stands for Trehalose Complex..    I would call Trehalose plain just that,

Yet I have not bought any yet.  I do not use a pound of sugar for my guest in two years, and I do not bake.  I eat near all sugar in Grapejuice or Pineapples, or here and there on apple.  Diabetes leaves me not much freedom with it. Lucky for me I have made the (sugar) adjustment to few carbs long ago, so sugar is near no issue.  Worse is bread when I go out to eat.. Have more temptations with that when hungry waiting for food.

I might just go nutty and bring a slice of Ezekiel to toast.. they would do it, if i could even buy it some where.... yet we seem not to be safe with that any more (grains)...

Now Dr D also made something called Membrosia Complex, with Trehalose, Lecitin from Soy, Ribose (no mention of D-Ribose), Uridine, L-Glutamine..

http://www.4yourtype.com/prodinfo.asp?number=NP073  for more info.

I was not able to detect any difference with this product, as I did with TC from the first day on. but fewer wrinkles?? haha ..
