My experience with blood type O's is that we need to be in bed between 10:00 & 11:00 p.m. In fact, regardless of blood type, we all benefit from a good night of sleep! Wouldn't want a blood type O reading this and thinking alright, "party time for us..."!

I never found that "blood type personality" thing to be very accurate for my family. Going by personality traits alone, I would have guessed that me and my younger two children share one blood type and my oldest daughter is a different type. In fact, my oldest is an O like me (even though she's more "A-like" in personality) and my B son and younger O daughter are more similar to me.

I also observed that we change during life  times E and I- factors (values) and so the enneagram becomes even simpler to  be understood and the ABO analogies are heavily to be found it those types as well ...but as said : merely all about tendencies !!!

When Dr.D. discribed us.. I really felt a bit trapped... but then asked myselve am I really that much a number 1 in thie enneagram... nope... only partiellamente..so far I
found myselve finely described in the no. 5... sometimes more tendencies to 5/4 and then back 5/6... it always depends of the circumstances... and then we do need to become aware... this isn't our true self.... only about our trained patterns called *persona* popping in during stress times or while hoppeling into the desintegrative line... which always is refresshing while comeing back to our true nature ...

ps.

ruthiegirl, this is normal.. we aren't outta that descendencies nor do we share the same educational patterns, only similarities...but we need to become aware that our shadows need to get integrated and that our *persona* isn't our true self... but a conglomerate of trained patterns from education, envirenements and habits... often I observed also how hard is this to come along with changes, the older we get, the more we are *in* those mechanismes... ... and once incrusted... harsh to let go!!

ppss:

I'm always amazed how beautiful sensitive Dr. D. tries to describe clear forms of our types... he really always isn't offending at all what sometimes I might lack in my scripts .......
