...I do find it increasingly difficult to watch people around me starting to struggle with their health, when it could be sooo much better for them!

Yep...the friends and cousins are hitting the age where long time lifetime choices are catching up

Unfortunately, me making a case for any of the D'Adamo 'diets' does not work, because I happen to have a chronic disease
I'm having a bad flare-up at the moment and it really doesn't do my credibility much good...so I just have to stay quiet and wait for the perfect moment when I might make a point to one or the other that they don't straight away dismiss out of hand!

People around me generally just think I'm eating funny food and why am I bothering since I still have flare-ups...

What they don't see is, that I halved my medication, bettered my long term health by nooo end and know I'm loving me, by looking after my body the way it loves it

Sooo frustrating!!

Same here, and yeah, sad when it's loved ones.  Live and let live and just be glad the light's on in your attic. Maybe one day they'll notice.

while changing your habits & thoughts your health will follow ... for sure... so far who ever talked about any *chronical of whatever * ...
The expectancies of *instant healings* whithin hours..days is mad... and it takes the time in needs to heal... so what but I think you're on the right way.... bravo

Good job yvonne...  I'm glad to hear your diet makes you feel good about yourself.

I'm the oldest of 3 sisters....and many people who have seen photos of the three of us, think I'm the youngest. I'm eating for my blood type since I'm 47. The other two sisters eat whatever they want...
have called me loopy more than a few times over the years...I see how rapidly they're aging compared to me.

Although the benefits of these diets are often not apparent to doubting friends and family, I'm pretty certain, down the road, the accumulated benefits will always be the biggest reward of all.  I no longer have to explain myself or my diet. I am visible proof of my decision to go down this path
and keep on going!
