Gee, I though lectins were destroyed by cooking.

I wish I'd known this 25 years ago- it could have saved me a lot of pain and ill health! 25 years ago is about the time I was eating lots of wheat  germ and soy protein because I thought it was healthy!

Impressive!  Glad to see that kind of research backing up what those of us that have been fans for many years already know.  You are a true pioneer.

At least the message is getting out there; pioneers never seem to get credit until they are no longer here, (sigh)! Hopefully with people slowly unthawing from their grain induced stupor, they will get on board with BTD/GTD and be impressed with how well they feel. Not to mention the great variety of foods to be discovered and savoured.

I've always said that you're on the leading crest of the wave.  As such, many have felt threatened by you, as you rock their boats.  If they admitted you were right, it would have undermined the foundation of their businesses.

By now, given their steady diet of it, you'd think Dr. D's detractors would want to know the lectin content of crow.

Is there a way to share that link on my Facebook page?  I know, I know.  Please overlook my ignorance.

You just post the link (copy and paste is easiest) into the "update status" box on Facebook; where you'd normally type in whatever you wanted to type to post to your page.  Facebook automatically formats it into a link. You can put in some other text nest to the link if you want to say something about the link; the formatting works the same.

Thanks, Ruthie.  I'm excited to try it!

Right. This one is going to take a while longer.

Quoted from Posted article
Until now, human epidemiological and intervention studies investigating the health effects of whole grain intake were confounded by other dietary and lifestyle factors and, therefore, well-designed intervention studies investigating the effects of cereal grains and their individual components on intestinal permeability and inflammation are warranted.

Thanks.  I needed that laugh today!

Yeah, gee...do you ever feel like you are saying stuff/trying to impart stuff, but no one (or very few ones) is listening?  Still, keep casting those pearls.  There are a few non-swine out here in the world who really appreciate it.

[i]many have felt threatened by you, as you rock their boats.

For most of my adult life, I was an avid baker of bread. I suffered greatly with inflammation, which I believed was my destiny due to an autoimmune condition.

Three years ago, I gave up the wheat and am infinitely healthier.
I say: Rock on!
