Hi, when I ordered my SWAMI I also ordered the blood type testing kit - just to double check the blood test I did years ago was correct (it was from a UK co - I believe from DR D though).  The part which you check your blood type is slightly different to the one I previously got, the first test were very simple either plain red circles or mottled (agglutinate) circles, but this one I recently received, some of the red circles are a more deeper browny colour i.e. the 1st circle on the O + and O - .  Anyway I checked it as O + (as before), but when I asked my husband he said either A or O?? I said why do you say that - the first circle isn't mottled? - he said it isn't brown either so I'm not sure.  I just presume the tones are slightly different on the check sheet - just like some of the agglutinates are weaker or stronger.  I definitely don't see it as A (I think he needs to get some new glasses
I was just wondering has anyone else recently done the blood test and can explain why the first circle on the O's is browner.  Btw mine is a bit darker than the others because it was the first blood I used and there was more, the control is a bit darker too because I had to squeeze the finger by then and got a good drop.  I could attach a photo if it was possible?

Thanks so much, mine look's most like Monkey Timmy's (0+) but I have a photobucket account (although I never use it now) so I will try and upload a photo from there.
