I haven't been on board for awhile.  Spent one week in one hospital then transferred to another one for two weeks.  It was no picnic but the doctors were excellent.  The sad news is that my cancer is Grade IV.  I'm home and visiting with family, friends and Hospice.  Other than that, I seem to be sleeping a lot!  The doctors and nurses couldn't get over the good condition I was in.  That seemed of little solace at the time but the doctor said that is what will bring me through the recovery period.  Through to what?... I sometime ask myself.  Then, I remember that I'm 81 for pete's sake so what did I expect?  I feel sorry for my youngest sister since we lost a sister to breast cancer this past September.

Just thought you ought to know what the latest is with me since I have been a long-time contributor to this wonderful forum.  I love you all!!!

Much love and warm wishes for your well-being.  As Lola said, hold close to Dr. D's supplement recommendations in his Cancer book.  It's great!

And don't assume anything.  Focus on health and wellness, saturate yourself with gratitude and inner peace.  Smile and breathe deeply.

Sorry to hear about your diagnosis NHG. I know you will be able to conquer this beast and recover
You're in good shape because you have taken good care of yourself  with this lifestyle and you have the advantage of making your body unfriendly to this alien we call cancer.

You're 81, but may enjoy life for another 20 years...  You never know what enjoyment you may get tomorrow, much less 20 years from now...  It is great that you are in good condition and can look forward to many more good times!

The link does not lead anywhere, Isa.
I also love the addition of healing mushrooms as part of my own health protocol.  I have been using Cordyceps, Reishi, Agaricus and Maitake.  There may be some blood type differences in which ones are best for each person.

I'm not sure, dearest Victoria if those mushrooms are really relating to any bloodtypes.. I merely observed similar attitudes of benefits in all bt's and yep your mentioned potential are true helpers in cancer treatments, as btw.. nearly all of those mushrooms are... but all seem to have a certain specifique préference .... anyway good infos are to be obtained here...even in english language ...www.micosalud.com  but while googling about mycotherapy I guess there are some famous addresses as well in USA... if I remember it well Swanson do have some fine responses here... but the most important here... don't go for powders but for the whole mushrooms !!!

Ditto & ((HUGS)) to you. My dad was diagnosed with it in his 80s, too.  He ate a good diet for years, but never like to drink water & didn't like the sunlight. Now we find out that Vitamin D is good against cancer.
Keep us posted!!!!!!
