Hello everyone.  My Dad was recently diagnosed with COPD.  He used to smoke but quit 20 years ago.  He has slight emphysema.

I was going to get him to start on Trehalose Complex.

What other supplements work best to control the symptoms?

Thanks in advance.

Tom,

I take Trehalose Complex and I know it helps me in many ways.

Please tell us your Dad's bloodtype.  Then anything recommended can be bloodtype specific.

I've found regularly inhaling the vapors from steaming water that has a few drops of essential oils added, to be healing and effective.
Some that are good for lungs.  Choose one or a few:
inula
eucalyptus
myrtle
pine
spruce
peppermint
marjoram
lavender
cypress
lemon
frankincense - This one is good, just take the lid off the bottle and inhale  deeply with nose close to the bottle.

Research as to what helps for CPOD is something I'm sure you have started already.

I just searched on Natural News and read that Vitamin D levels are usually low.  Something to checkout and consider.

Keep us posted and we wish him all the best.
