C. albicans is commensal and a constituent of the normal gut flora comprising microorganisms that live in the human mouth and gastrointestinal tract. C. albicans lives in 80% of the human population without causing harmful effects, although overgrowth of the fungus results in candidiasis (candidosis)

I understand; however, if candidiasis has occurred, will arabinogalactan not feed the Candida as well?
Every human has candida in their gut flora. The problem is when the other strains get crowded out, and the intestines are weakened.
Even if it did feed it (in the intestines) it wouldn't be a problem because it would be feeding the better strains that will out-compete it, if you are eating foods that work for you. Does it feed it? I don't know, maybe, but it is a moot point.
It works to create good gut flora, and not consuming bad things for your blood type will help the intestinal barrier be strengthened. Your immune system will improve and be able to get rid of the candida where it shouldn't be, and not come back because the intestines are healthy.
You don't catch candidiasis. The yeast is already there. A number of factors can increase the chance of the yeast growing out of control. The leading cause is overuse of antibiotics. Yeast must compete for the right to live on us with various other organisms, many of them bacteria. These bacteria, which live on the skin and in the intestine and vagina, among other places, are harmless but good at fighting off yeast. When we take antibiotics to deal with less friendly bacteria, we kill off these harmless ones as well. Yeast, which is unaffected by antibiotics, moves into the vacated spots once occupied by bacteria, and starts to grow and multiply.
This tells us that we just want to control the Candida, not get rid of it... To control it, we need to feed beneficial bacteria to make them healthy and build the colony so they keep the Candida in check.
