Has anyone ever had this happen before? Ghee is a fat so one would think it would help move things along and I'm pretty sure I've seen it recommended for that. I have changed around a few things in my diet so it could be something else but things seem to point to it being the ghee. When I ran out of it for a few days things seemed to improve and once I added it back I started having trouble again. Maybe I'm using too much? I use more than my portion size suggests.

Maybe on another thread you've said, but . . can you eat ground flax and ground chia with plenty of liquid?  I find it nearly impossible to be constipated with those two items taken with liquid (smoothie, tea, water, etc.).  Also lots of fresh vegetables.  The right kind of fiber is essential.

I've not heard of ghee promoting constipation.

Hemorrhoid could be increased blood flow, without increased integrity of the cardiovascular system.

I wouldn't get worried about it, nor would I think it is remotely near appropriate to blame it on Ghee in the sense something bad was happening. It would be like saying having flu symptoms are not good but your system is purging an invader that can do damage but the repercussions dignify that it shouldn't be happening at all.

I used ghee for many years, it does lubricate the intestines, but whole olives (rinsed well) and avocado do too!  as does chewing food well so that food is properly digested. The intestines need fresh RAW fibres from vegetables, nuts, seeds, whole grains to scrape metabolic waste and food waste out of they body and keep colon wall strong - raw foods give colon a nice daily workout.  Fresh fruit does a little cleansing work too.  Drink some fresh cucumber/celery juice when thirsty, eat some slices of fresh watermelon, so your body can utilise fluids with organic minerals - reduce tap/faucet water which has inorganic minerals and nasties like flouride and chlorine, or look for a fresh young Asian coconut and drink the coconut water.  eat at regular times every day in relaxed atmosphere and chew well and slowly.  All should improve.  Check if my suggestions work with your blood type!
