Who can come up with a recipe for a cake celebrating an occasion in the lives of four people of four different blood types? What would you baking-types do with such a challenge? |

I'd probably blend together rice flour, salt, baking soda (sodium bicarbonate), water, pineapple juice, agave, melted ghee, and eggs. I'd have to experiment with the exact proportions, and maybe use all pineapple juice and no agave, or skip the juice and just use water and agave, or some combination there. Ghee, salt, and agave for frosting.
I'm pretty sure those ingredients are OK for every blood type, secretor type, and genotype, but of course there's so much individual variation that we can't please everybody. I have a friend who can't tolerate rice without blood sugar spikes, for example. But if this is a cake for a large crowd, those of us with blood sugar issues would eat small portions and only after a full meal. |
