Who knows about the subject supplement? ( DIINDOLYLMETHANE, abbr. "DIN") It was discussed on Dr. Oz yesterday and my girlfriend is rushing out to buy it for her hot flashes... Do any of Dr. D's supplements contain this? And is it known to help alleviate hot flashes?  |

None of Dr. D'Adamo's product have chemically isolated Diindolylmethane added to them.
Some products most likely contain small amounts of it. The live cell formulations come to mind. |

Aromastat is an all-natural blend of herbs shown in clinical studies to inhibit the enzyme aromatase. In men, aromatase activity increases with age, converting what little testosterone that is left into estrogen. It is perhaps this event that is most responsible for the many symptoms of male menopause and possibly even an enlarged prostate and prostate cancer.

I use DIM with natural progesterone cream (Emerita) to control heavy periods and cramps (had them since I started my cycle at 16... suspect it is due to heavy steroid use from my asthma treatments). I watched my diet and stuck to the GTD like it was my religion and eliminated foods that were deemed "estrogenic" even if they were diamonds.
Ever since, no major cramps and I am so much healthier. I think I got quicker and better results because of the GTD. |
