So I am assuming I am not the only person with some weird foods that are Genoharmonic.
Have other folks tried to devise recipes for unusual food combinations? Could we have a thread for that? Or maybe a whole catagory!
I am working on a chicken recipe (also suitable for Goose, Moose, Rabbit, Salmon and Turkey) that includes pawpaw, asparagus, lime juice, onions ghee and herbs for my type.,
I'm assuming it is good for other O Explorers, but maybe for Hunters and certain other types.
Question is, how to post it, since the recipe data base isn't geared toward SWAMI last I checked.
Just for laughs:
Chicken (or Goose, Moose, Rabbit, Salmon or Turkey) with Pawpaw Sauce and Asparagus
Sauce: Saute 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion in 1/4 teapoon ghee. When transparent add 1 teaspoon each of thyme and oregano OR 1 teaspoon dill seeds, crushed OR 1 teaspoon fennel, ground. When combined add juice of 1 lime (less if you wish, I'm big on limes). Blend in 1 cup pureed pawpaw pulp till smooth.
Saute 1/3 onion and 3 cloves garlic (finely chopped) in one teaspoon ghee or olive oil. Add 1 cut up chicken or the equivalent amount of your favorite pieces. Add oil or water as needed to prevent burning. Saute until almost done.
Meanwhile, parboil 1 pound of cleaned and prepared asparagus spears for 1 minute (depending on size and tenderness of the asparagus).
Arrange chicken and asparagus tastefully in a cassarole or baking dish, pour the sauce over all, and bake for an additional 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
Just so you know I have only done this on my wood cookstove which has no temperature gauge, so all temps and times for baking are approximate.

Hey, what about an asparagus and pawpaw salad with lime dressing as a suggestion?
Cook your asparagus as you mentioned, and chop it into 1 1/2" pieces. Cube or dice the pawpaw, add a little sliced red onion,(are you allowed pine nuts?)dress with lime juice and olive oil and serve maybe on a bed of crisp allowable lettuce leaves. If it is allowed, a little fetta cheese crumbled over would be a nice foil for the sweet pawpaw.
I would leave the herbs for jazzing up the chicken, maybe grilled/broiled and sliced over the top of the salad. I do my chicken in a compress grill, which cooks both sides simultaneously, and looks great with those darkish stripes across it.
Sounds delicious!!! I love fruit mixed in with savoury foods - mango, grapefruit, nectarine, peach - YUM!

There are of course the recipes that come with SWAMI . These may be expanded with the new release (may not change also).
You do not have to get all the foods listed. In fact the professional version (Swami Genotype) allows you to increase the number of foods listed in each combo. This would mean you would have to make a huge meal to get all the foods in a combo.
It is not necessary to do this. Just a food from the left with one or more foods on the right.
