Hi. I was thinking about buying one of the supplements on here to aid in detoxification since the eczema around my eyes has never really completely gone away ever since starting the genotype diet though yes, it has cleared up a lot. I also have this one clogged pore on my nose that never clears up.
Everything else is going pretty well. I'm not sure if I'm a secretor or non-secretor (haven't done the test yet) but I was thinking I'm probably a non-secretor since my stomach is so sensitive to certain foods but that could just be from being compromised by food poisoning so many times. I'm not sure if this is useful information but I thought I'd include it.
I thought I'd ask here again on recommendations for a fitting supplement(s) since I got such successful suggestions before to fix the fish oil problem I was having. Thanks in advance! |

Tell us a little about yourself Jacquie.
Very generally skin problems can relate to sugar and whether it's from sweets, wheat, dairy or whatever. but can be a specific liver or large intestinal problem... Bags under the eyes indicate a large intestine (colon) problem, or kidney problems. The bags right under, straddling the lower eyelids are kidney bags, the ones below them are large intestine (colon) bags for example. but may be plaque in the arteries too.
where is the rash below the eye exactly above below on the lid etc? and when does it affect you most.
have you kept a food dairy for a week to see if there is any obvious links.

Well I used to post more here months ago under a different name (rAw Warrior) but don't really come on here much any more. I'm 24, married, live in Jersey. I'm an INFJ in the MBTI.
I don't have any bags under my eyes. It's just the eczema. Very interesting about the different bags under the eyes. I didn't know that. The rash is like right in the area below the lower lid I would say and also at the corner of my eyes is where it shows up most or it will just show up as dry skin there. And yes it gets worse when I eat avoids - specifically dairy.
What's strange is I didn't always have this problem - even when I used to eat dairy all the time. It's something that started to develop about three or so years ago when I started eating a lot of fast food (which I hadn't done before). I avoid fast food now though. So I thought that might have had something to do with it too. Just like a build up over the years or something. Not sure.
So then, I guess this would be more of a colon issue or it seems like it but I don't know much about kidney issues.
Thank you for taking the time to respond. I appreciate it. |

Thank you, Lola Thanks, Damon. I will definitely take that into consideration. Gallbladder problem you say? Any supplement suggestions for that? I'll have to look into that. Thanks for your input Andrea - what was the protocol he gave you if you don't mind me asking? |

How do red beets rate for you? When I had gall bladder flare-ups, I'd eat a 15 oz. can of unsalted red beets for each meal for several days - Worked really well to settle the gall bladder irritation. |

Lets see - I see "beet greens" on Warrior's superfood list (I don't use SWAMI). I wonder if beets are included in that? They're not on my avoid list. I may just try that. Thank you for the tip. I've never even had beets before. |

Beets have a rating. Since they aren't listed, they are Neutral by the book. They are a diamond superfood for me - maybe that is why they help me so much. I do hope you have success as well. |

Andrea - I PM'd you. I believe I have the second type as described here: http://eczema.skyeherbals.com/types_of_eczema.htmlAlso thought about trying this: http://www.amazon.com/Liver-Bl.....oliid=I1FUG1SLF2R24BAlso am going to start taking some echincea I have on hand since that's supposed to help purify the blood I read. And I tried some unsalted canned beets today but had a hard time eating them. But I'm trying to develop a sauce I like out of them. I definitely think it would help since my system seems to be very toxic. I am very gassy even when eating healthy and if I sway from my diet, I get horrible stomach aches. The horrible stomach aches started when I was maybe 9 or 10 (of course I was eating dairy and meat all the time back then - completely unaware). I also get random, singular hiccups sometimes. Don't know what that is about. That started when I was 14. Sometimes I have problems with excessive burping and acid reflux/heartburn (but that's a more recent thing and only when I eat terribly). |

Sounds like SIBO -- I sent you a message but why not just go to UB and let them work this out for you? Loads of wasted energy going round and round instead of just getting to the heart of the matter. |

Andrea I have a bad case of eczema seborrheicum on the right jaw and in the worst days a bit in front, but recurring badly and often in winter cold weather or hidden gluten ingestionsometimes. Do you think your protocol would be proper ? I am already all the time on Polyflora A to be on the safer side . I had some disconfort lasting 3 months ago after colonscopy, broken angles, chapped sides of the lips and gut too mucous for weeks, in spite of the probiotics, but this now is OK with fish oil and B complex |
