I seem to be more and explorer now, and my partner is an Explorer. My daughter although a bit young for swami types as a Gatherer but is super slim. is it likely that she is an explorer. we are all non secretors and my daughter seems to be a super tastser like her mum.
I ask this as we are feeding her a pretty exclusive gatherer diet but we now seek to be explorers.
thoughts appreciated. and links if possible |

You and your partner can 'make' ANY genotype that falls within the bloodtype(s) you're able to make. You should see it like this: The fact that you're an explorer doesn't mean your genetic material hasn't stored information about for example being a hunter; if the stimuli your body receives from the environment makes it conclude that 'advising' your child to become a hunter would be better than let's say an explorer, it'll certainly do so.. [I'm aware this may sound weird though..] |

Some epigenetic markers are passed down from one generation to another, while other markers get set during gestation. From my understanding of Dr D's GTD book, it seems that the experiences your daughter had prenatally are more likely to influence her genotype than her parents' genotypes are.
I'm a Gatherer and my type B ex is likely a Gatherer as well (though he might be an Explorer), yet our two daughters are both Explorers. This is probably due to my misguided diet the years before getting pregnant, and even my best attempts to "listen to my body" while pregnant weren't enough to compensate. There was some emotional stress from a failing marriage during the pregnancies as well. |

If two explorers made an explorer child, I wouldn't be a warrior. (well my mom could possibly not be an explorer, but the signs are very obvious. It is just weird because none of her siblings are) My brother is though. Funny part is I'm rh(-) he is rh(+). |

You're trying to Genotype a six year old? My approach would be to have her follow the same diet as you and "Partner" if there are good results with it. |
| My SWAMI diet is a blend of BTD and GTD Explorer, but I'm not totally compliant. Also I try to choose foods that have a Low Glycemic index. DW and DD are A+, probably also Explorer. |

Dr. D in the genotype diet book says a person can be a single whatever genotype in a family of whatever other genotypes (not in those exact words).
Has to do with prenatal influences and nutrition, lot of different things. But i think we still retain the genetic patterns of our parents either way.
I think i am the only explorer in my family, my mom is a hunter and my dad is a nomad, and my sis is either a teacher or a nomad, don't know if she is A or B though. |

We got into all this because of our daughters ill heath. Although she types out in swami as a gatherer it is difficult to keep up with her growth spurts now. and she does look like what I imagine is an explorer. but she is 60 % gatherer. and so far the gatherer diet is working for her lol. just pushing the boundary's as usual lol |

If her gatherer diet is working/she is thriving..then let it be. My Dad is an O- explorer, my Mom is an A+ warrior or explorer, I am mostly teacher with explorer tendencies (fingerprint patterns/body style/some food reactions) We three have such different diets...none of us could tolerate one anothers personal food choices and be "well"... |
