As you know, I am studying health promotion for people with disabilities. It would be nice to read some information on genetics, bloodtype (specific) and the effects on the general population. However, I still cant find any articles in pub med that support dr.d or even the fact that bloodtype and nutrition are related... does anyone have any thoughts?

I heard that research may be some in Europe, but still to no avail when I search.

Thanks so much
Peace

I know that if digestion / absorption isn't right, it doesn't matter how nutrient dense the food is, you're not going to get enough nutrients...

Here is one article that links probiotics and ABO type...

There is a thread where Dr. D inters what He is reading, some of which might be related to the research you are looking for.  Unfortunately I can't remember the thread title.

I think it has something like "What I'm reading"  Is the Doc on the member page? Also check into his blogs. I'm sure he brings up "reports" that would then give you a lead.

I would say that is because he bases his information off of the studies that come out. A lot of the articles were pre Internet indexing. He said he had about 3000 xeroxed studies back in the day. A study of the whole shabang of what he is doing would cost in the millions and there are lots of variables with individuals that don't fit into the way clinical studies are traditionally looking for statistics that can be measured with a minimal number of variables.
n=1

I find that many of the folks that talk about nutrients, etc have older studies (previous to antibiotics) Research focused and turned almost exclusively to pharmacueticals around the 50s (or maybe prior) in my perception.

Every so often, a study will come out pointing to things Dr. D has been saying for years specific to a very small part of his work i.e. the gut flora, heart issues, etc. People take it as new information. In reality, it is rediscovery or connecting the dots to something he already put together.

I finally came across studies linking RH negative to adaptation to high altitude. Please do studies on RH Negative.  I am an O Negative with Swiss and Bavarian ancestors.  I have no problem with dairy, but I cannot tolerate grains at all. My grandfather of the Bavarian ancestry came from a line of dairy farmers.

According to the study there is a significant difference between - and +,even adaptations to the cold.

I am O- as well and from German and French background. Thank you for this information, I will read more when I have time.

In general, I do not think we do well in really hot or really cold environments, but I could be wrong. I just glanced at the article briefly.

do you eat alot of meat? Just curious

Many studies are 1+1= 2.

More A's get stomach cancer so a diet that is preventative would be in order.

You almost need a degree just to use the right combinantion of words to get Pubmed to disgorge what it has on a particular topic.

Dr D' Adamo metioned that he prefers Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man over Pubmed.

There's tons of info on this site, I believe. Looking at the  Journal Club and Literature Review looks like a good bet, and the science writings, as people say - honeybee and Lola. Mind you, take a while to get through it all!
Good luck and let us know if you find any good sources of "concentrated information" on it I guess.
