So after the required 60 days of compliancy without black dots and working to be 100% compliant... do the black dot foods move into a neutral category or ?

And what if one is 99.9% compliant during the 60 days.. does that still count for the 60 day count?

      It seems there are not any concrete rules, so the black dot dilemma is up to you. In my intrepretation, when you are finished with your wash-out phase, then the black dot foods become neutral, but should go back to being avoided if, say, you aren't feeling well, or think you might be coming down with something.
     Others may offer different opinions...

In the end of the day it remains entirely personal. The recommended time frame is a guideline. Black dots do not move to the neutral column. They stay there as black dots, and the recommendation even after the waiting period is to enjoy them in moderate quantities. It depends on the overall health condition whether to have them at all.

When you a abstain and then bring them back in small portions, you may check how they affect you and if they are favorable to your system.

Per the book, the time to re-introduce black dot foods in modest amounts is 3-6 months.  If you are battling an illness or feel the weight beginning to creep back up, you may want to ramp up your compliance by avoiding these foods again for a while.

In other words, eat these in modest amounts only if you are in good health and can maintain a good weight while doing so...

The black dot foods are always "caution" foods - and should be the last to enter the diet and the first to leave it at any sign of illness, etc., as total avoids should never be part of the diet...

As a non-secretor who deals with many chronic conditions which are for the most part, all kept in remission by my diet and lifestyle, I do not deliberately purchase black dot foods or eat them if I have other choices available.  I don't consider them foods that my body needs and I'm not driven by cravings anymore.  It's very important to me to keep the balance of my health steady.

Black dots come into my life at those times when I might be visiting relatives in another part of the country, or taking a long road trip, or eating at a friends house, etc.  Those times are rare for me, maybe once or twice a year.  Black dot foods will be chosen over regular Toxins when I'm in those rare positions of having few options.  As much as possible, I go prepared for situations like that.

Thanks Victoria.  I understand this action plan.  I'm afraid I may never get to the point of having those two months of 100% compliancy so I might as well forget about black dots forever unless i'm in the kind of situations you talk about above.
