Does anyone know if the small amount of powdered pig bone that is used in a bone graft for a dental implant will have the same effect on the body as if the person ingested pork as a food? It will evidently be completely assimilated in 3 months.
This question is not intended for a discussion on the pros and cons of dental implants. |

I'd give it a neutral because Dr. D didn't evaluate pig bones. Only the meat. |

Even if it is an "avoid" it's an incredibly tiny quantity. It can't be more than a teaspoonful, which would MAYBE equal a few ounces of gelatin or bone broth; not even a full serving. And that's being consumed over the course of 3 months, so it's only a minuscule amount being "ingested" daily. |

Since pork anything is avoid, I would assume pork bone is as well, but I also agree that it is a tiny amount, and is for a beneficial purpose.
I have, and would again, taken small amounts of an avoid as the beneficial aspects of a substance was more important for a short period of time to deal with a specific issue. |

If I had an issue where a small amount of powdered pig bone would make a positive difference in my life, I wouldn't hesitate. If I were hungry, with no other options, I would not hesitate to eat a serving of pork. If it takes three months to assimilate, I can't imagine that a person would have the least problem with it unless they are violently allergic to pork. This is the way I evaluate a lot of things. In this case, I might even boil a pig bone, eat some of it and see what happens! I doubt seriously if anything much would happen out of the ordinary.
If a person is unhealthy in many different ways, reacting to zillions of foods and many other things around them, I would feel differently. I don't think there is anything on my avoid list that would seriously impact my life for more than a few days if I ate it only once. Even beef that used to make me feel worse than terrible didn't affect me more than two or three days - even before I started on the BTD. On the other hand, my niece would become inflamed from one end of her "gut" to the other and have to be hospitalized for treatment if she ate it or any dairy product. |

Wow, I never even asked what was in the bone grafts that I got for my dental implants. I've had 2 grafts. One implant is done and the other will be finished at the end of this month. Jane |

My nearly 17 year old granddaughter has a pig's heart valve connected to her heart. Born with a birth defect called "Transposition of the main artery" She was a newborn who didn't pass the apgar test because arteries to the heart were reversed and her skin was blue......She had open heart surgery at 4 days old. Spent a month in ICU and recovered completely. She's perfectly fine. And nobody in our family ever thinks about the part of our granddaughter that belongs to a pig. I agree with what Spring said...When there are no other options, you accept what is...because if something makes a positive difference in your life....you would always want to make choices based on the benefits. And I also agree with what Mayflowers said....Dr. D didn't test pig bone....so consider it neutral. We should always put our focus on beneficials and super foods! VIctoria and Jane, I'm sure you will both be just fine... |

Thank you Chloe. How wonderful that your granddaughter had the opportunity to benefit from that noble animal! I'm so glad for you and your entire family that she is thriving. |

Beef bones aren't used.
Bone grafts are used when the upper molars have long roots that leave a hole into the sinus cavity. When the tooth is removed, it can leave an opening into the sinus. |

You can't say that. There is no evaluation for pork bones. It has to be considered a neutral until he posts an evaluation. That's the rule. He said to consider anything he hasn't evaluated as a neutral. |

A dear one (A) has a pig valve replacing one of his cardiac valves. Lectins or not: Without it, he'd be dead. That's good enough for me. |

My interpretation is that the Typebase title "Bacon / Pork Products" includes pork bones. http://www.dadamo.com/typebase4/depictor5.pl?43 You (and anyone else) can choose to evaluate pork bones in any manner you like, though. |

you can get it tested by bioresonance analysis ... and I think this is another stuff and should re-act with your body differently.... it's all about resonances |

That reminds me about a man who had some dental bone graft & afterward the dentist said that it was cadaver bone! Of course it is all sterilized, but the dentist should have informed the patient!!!!!!! We have to be so diligent & keep asking questions.
As for pig bone & valves, I think that pig is more compatible to the human body. I am sure this kind of thing has been researched over the years. |

There is also the option of having our own bone harvested, but that sounds way painful! |

However gross it sounds, I have a feeling that either pig bone or human cadaver bones are sterilized enough that there would not be a lectin reaction to either. |
