So as an AB non-secretor beer is an avoid for me.
White wine is neutral. Red wine is beneficial (even cancer super beneficial for me as a non secretor), but it sometimes gives me reflux so I don't drink it much.
Club soda is neutral.
TypeBase lists "Liquor (Distilled)" as neutral for AB non's (avoid for AB secretors); by "Liquor Distilled" is it referring to ALL hard liquors (scotch, rum, vodka, tequila, etc)? That seems pretty broad.
So AB's (and A's and B's) what do y'all drink when you feel like having a drink?

I don't know why but I tend to lose weight if I drink red wine regularly, however recently discovering I am a Nomad means I will be cutting that out. I prefer dry to sweet wines, however do love dark rum which is sweet. |

I get beer and red wine as superfoods on SWAMIXpress, so I choose either of those. Since I don't drink enough of either to know much about them, and I'm usually with friends who know more about the topic, I usually go with someone's recommendation or a beer brand I know or a red wine...
White wine is neutral, so I could drink it, but if I can get a superfood, I won't get a neutral. |

Beer is a superfood for me on the GTD so I have one on rare occasions. I'm very picky about the variety and make though, no Miller or Michelob or lite beer. Usually Shiner Boch. |

I always drank red wine for those rare occasions when I wanted to drink, but it would sometimes give me a little acid stomach - not usually, but still it wasn't 100% suitable for me.
I've been following the Genotype diet for a number of years and now the SWAMI eating plan, and I am a Nomad. For us Nomads, beer is a Diamond Superfood, which is a new thing for me. I have not been a beer drinker and it has only been in the past few weeks that I have been willing to experiment. I have been getting single small bottles of different kinds that my friends recommend and I'm doing amazingly well. At this point, I'll drink a 6 oz glass and stopper the rest - maybe 3 times a week. |

Maybe not I ´ve got beer and red wine as superfood and white wine as neutral. I drink aprox 7 glasses/= 1 bottle a week- mainly over the weekend. In summertime I might add a cold bee once in a while. |

Haha!! I think beer is a neutral for A non secretors, so that is pretty good news if you happen to be a non secretor. |

Why? Red Wine is a Nomad Superfood in the Genotype Book. |

I get migraines from most wines, but I can tolerate Cavit Pinot Noir and Pinot Grigio. I can't tolerate any California wines. OMG, they really give me migraines. Cavit comes from Italy so maybe that's what my family's genes are used to. But I've gotten a migraine from Cavit cabernet sauvignon. It must be the way they are aged or something. I like the taste of cabernet better too. |

California wines=sulfites.... I drank red and rose all over France and Italy, 6 trips in all...no problem! I love many California wines but only drink 1/2 glass maybe once a month. Red wine is a superfood on my swami. |

Mayflowerly.. if not... nightmares are guaranted.... ffffttt... no needs here.
Oh I have the cure for nightmares... B-1 Thiamine Take about 300 mg a day. I myself take about 2-300 mg a day for stress because it's important for coginitive function and when you drink alcohol you burn it up. (I only have wine once a week or so) When ever someone drinks alcohol they should replace the B-1 they burned up, about 300 mg the next day...I learned this many years ago. I rarely have nightmares...only if I ate pizza before bedtime.. back in the old days..er young days. Also, if someone is going through psycho therapy they should take it every day..because it will get burned up from that. |
