In the beginning, some of the foods tested were commercially processed foods. Many string cheeses have ingredients that are considered avoids, so always read labels and decide for yourself if the food is "worthy".

I eat string cheese because it is convenient for my numerous work travels.  You have to read the ingredients.  I buy organic from WF.

I think Dr. D is quite clear-- processed foods are not listed on the lists. String cheese is a processed food.
Not all mozzarella is created equal.

Food should be unprocessed anything with an extended shelf life is considered highly processed-- salad dressing is a great example of this.

String cheese is loaded with salt and not the best choice.
