Just fun speculation.  Maybe there's a connection.  I've never experienced it.  Nor has my B girlfriend.

I get a high from riding my bike! I can't run anymore due to a traumatic injury to my pelvis.

I also get a different type of high from tai chi type exercises, but it only lasts a few minutes, the high from bicycling lasts.

I used to run in high school, cross country and track mile and two mile.  Two mile for fun, my main run was the mile.

The qigong/tai chi exercise is very helpful to me though!

I get a high, but only if I dont eat before my workout. If I do eat something, then I am sluggish.

I know, kind of weird..

Agreed. I miss my runners high when I dont get it.. it must be the whole idea of serotonin/dopamine release.
