Hi all,
I myself have flat feet and I've recently met a number of people with them. I also just read that blood type O+ have the most flat-footed people. However the online source doesn't explain whether that finding is proportional (O+ is the largest group to begin with). So this got me thinking whether this recessive trait is linked with another of my recessive traits, being a non-secretor. Or are flat feet better suited for a specific environment? |

Well my mum is O type - and VERY likely explorer and she has flat feet - so does my sister B type ( gatherer) But I don´t and nor did my dad( AB- might have been nomad  ) I haven´t voted btw.. |

My whole immediate family has flat feet except for my mom who has "mechanically flat feet" which basically means she has arches but they don't work right so it's like she has flat feet. We're all type A Warriors. I don't know whether I am a secretor or non-secretor yet. I still have to send that off to find out. |

I never knew there was a link between flat feet and blood type!
My whole family is A , Rh-, secretor, and none of us have flat feet. I didn't vote, of course! |

I have magnesium deficiency with weak arches. My arches are low so my feet are considered to be flat feet. I am hoping my new exercise routine of running barefoot on the treadmill will help strengthen my feet (muscles and all). |

Numerous issues with my feet including flat footed, I wear orthotics, try not to walk barefoot, no flip flops at all. The only time I don't wear shoes while exercising is when I do exercises like barre and yoga. I do this exercise on a daily basis to help with my tendon injuries, but it seems to help with my flat feet: http://www.takethemagicstep.co.....les-tendon-injuries/ |

Perhaps unrelated, I'm a true warrior and have the highest arches of anyone I know. (quite the opposite problem) |

My warrior husband has super high arches as well, it almost looks like his feet are curled!!! |
