Ezekiel and Essene/Manna are very different products. If you eat both of them once you will never mistake the two of them they are very distinctive.
Essene is a heavy bread. Loafs have no yeast, are baked a long time at low temperature. The loaves feel like bricks. They are just mashed up sprouts formed into a loaf and shoved into the oven. May be from a single sprouted grain or a mixture.
The important thing about Ezekiel is that it is a mixture of sprouted grains and beans. It is leavened, so the loafs are lighter and feel more like a loaf of whole grain bread. The most common leavening agent is yeast, but some recipes use other agents. Usually the sprouted grains and beans are dried out and ground into flour before making Ezekiel bread (this is not done in Essene bread).

For unlisted products (actually for listed products as well), read through the ingredients on the label to determine compliance.
On Ezekiel, be sure to look for whether there is added wheat gluten in the product you are buying.
I wonder why Ezekiel bread was reccomended so much in ER4YT and not once mentioned in GT??? That should mean that Ezekiel Bread (which I can find in my local store) is a Neutral for all GTs.
Again, let me restate. If Ezekiel Bread was a Beneficial for every blood type in ER4YT, then, in LiveR4YT it is listed mostly as a neutral for all except a Beneficial for AB and a restricted for A non; why no mention whatsoever in GT? Either it was a clear omission by mistake or it is ?????? There is no explanation other than that that makes sense to me.
My reason for pursuing this answer is because it would be nice to be able to buy a prepared bread that I like when I do not have the time to make from scratch.

Ezekiel bread is a brand name food product controlled by a corporation.
Since the first edition of ER4YT came out, a decision was made to move away from rating commercial products, to rating ingredients. Intentional omission.
You can determine the rating of any commercial product based on its ingredients. The opposite does not work.
Commercial products also change formulations. Ezekiel bread is an example of this the formulation of the product changed. There is no rating in any system for the product that is currently being sold. There is a rating for the product as it was sold in 1997.

The grocery where I used to buy Ezekiel bread carries several varieties but every single one contains gluten. People have told me that they have found it in other places, though, without gluten. To be honest, though, the pancakes I make and use for all sorts of things taste a whole lot better than any Ezekiel bread! And is a whole lot cheaper.

But actually whether it sis rated or not you have to look at the individual ingredients to determine its rating.
In a composite food like bread, look up each ingredient.
If it is ground flaxseed, olive oil, baking soda, lemon juice, and eggs its fine.
If it is Whole wheat flour, flaxseed meal, cottonseed oil, sugar, yeast its an avoid.
Thanks. Yea that is what I do for sure. I just got back from shopping and the Spelt bread had whole wheat Flour in it. I did find a cheaper Sprouted Grain bread though, it still has "organic wheat gluten" in it, but as little the amount of glutens I have, it shouldn't have an effect.
