actually theres no connection between whorls and cancer. Infact if u check this link it suggests that greater than 6 whorls is a protection against breast cancer . out of the 200 ppl on whom breast cancer survey was done only 4 ppl had whorls greater than 6. http://www.krepublishers.com/0.....Natekar-P-E-Text.pdf |

That's a pretty small sample size... |

A small sample size is often sufficient to meet statistical standards. A well designed trial produces statiscally valid results with surprising small populations, if unrelated factors that can skew the trial can be successfully eliminated from the trial population. Having said that, I have not looked at this particular survey. Peer reviwed articles have fairly high standards but occasionally something slips through. |

O two whorls both on right hand. ring and pinkie. All else are ulnar loops = meaning I should remember my turmeric. (Alzheimer's) however no one on either side of my family has ever had it and most have had their mental abilities until just before their death many well into their mid to late 80's and some into their late 90's.

I have 6 ulnar loops for sure. Ring/pinkie aren't easy to read on both hands, possibly 2 more loops and 2 radial loops or peacock whorls. lots of vertical lines and worn ridges make them hard or impossible to figure out still. |

This is true, however the study contradicts what Dr. D has to say about finger prints, and I've found that you can find a study, peer review included, to support just about an position. After all, dihydrogen monoxide is deadly in overly large quantities. |

9 definite whorls and one that's not quite a whorl, not quite an ulnar loop. I also have white lines. Since going off all grains, my gut is healing. White lines are still there but it'll take a long time for them to disappear. That's okay. It took 53 years for me to get here. I'm just continually amazed at and thankful for the body's willingness to heal after so much abuse. |

Type A, all whorls here. Had three skin carcinomas removed and my thryroid because there was a lump in it. Sure hope you are right about the breast cancer, then at least I won't get that. |
