Hi there!
I have been looking all over (failed to chat about this with the ND on Thursday/ask yesterday.)
What group of drugs is affected by aacA, aphD? This tested positive on an analysis I had completed recently.
I may have worded the question incorrectly.
Thanks for your help,
Melissa |

do you take medication?
Lola - I was taking Allegra D (took allergy meds for quite some time) and stopped about two weeks prior to doing the stool sample (replaced it with Quercetin supplement.) Before that, I was on Prevacid or other PPIs for roughly seven years straight, yet had been free of them for about four months.) I do not take pain medications either, not even aspirin. Nothing. I WAS HEAVILY medicated as a child and young adult. As a child and adolescent, I was on almost weekly antibiotic doses for chronic sinusitis. I also took allergy meds (antihistamines, corticosteroids - inhaled and PO, brochodilators, etc.) for most of my adolescence and young adulthood. I took 600 mg of ibuprofen for about three years four times a day as a teenager due to my chronic headaches. What a mess. I became antibiotic resistant and even developed an acelulitis WHILE on this one strong antibiotic/antifungal. (My pediatrician was a pharmacist before he attended med school.) I was just wondering what group of medications this is linked to. Thank you, Melissa |

There have been several studies done looking for answers to this question. Here are the results of a search which provided information about some: https://www.google.com/search?.....l0l238l967l2.3.2l7l0
Thanks ABJoe! I found those too and now I figured it out - what a brain I have. They are sulfa/sulfate drugs. This makes sense. These have made me have reactions in the past. Melissa Melissa |

Oh my! I have always had reactions to any sulfa med also and suffer from sinus issues. |
