Eat right will help. For my health issues, Live Right helped more. http://www.4yourtype.com/prodinfo.asp?number=ED003Most of the books are available in libraries. There are only a few pages in each of the books I mention above that directly discuss thyroid issues. SWAMI asks questions about immune issues and about thyroid issues, but no question asks about Hashimoto's specifically. |

An autoimmune-specific version of the BTD would be best. I recommend the Arthritis book and if you do SWAMI, check the autoimmune issues box (if there is one). This is merely my opinion and should not be construed as medical advice. |
| My SWAMI diet is a blend of BTD and GTD Explorer, but I'm not totally compliant. Also I try to choose foods that have a Low Glycemic index. DW and DD are A+, probably also Explorer. |

the lectin free antiinflammatory approach in BT/GT diets and systems will help your condition, if more targeted, the better give us your BT, and find out your secretor status, for starts http://www.dadamo.com/knowbase/newbie/a.htmeliminate avoids from your diet asap, while you either get the books and learn more about your individuality.....if you begin by eliminating both nonsecretor and secretor avoids, you ll be doing yourself a big favor! http://www.google.com/custom?q.....itesearch=dadamo.com |

gluten free foods are loaded with avoids they are not good for anyone, but the food industry will dupe us into believing that they are a solution .. it is about what you do eat not about what you don't, get yourself some fucus and deflect from D'Adamo Personalized Nutrition. . Lectins mimic hormones causing havoc on your hormonal system. |

Just read labels. Read labels. Did I mention, Read Labels! It doesn't matter what a product is 'called'. What matters is the list of ingredients in the product. That's what you're actually ingesting. Gluten Free only tells you what is NOT in the product; not what IS in the product. Buyer Beware! |
