I am asking for testimonies/experiences for anyone who has gone through this situation. My DH has cough/congestion related to his a-fib and I need a natural way (as not to interfere with meds)to release water. I looked under edema and cardiovascular in the Bloodtype Encyclopedia but found nothing. Any help is welcomed. Thanks, Cajun |

Lola is right!! the book is easy to order from DPN and received by return mail. IF nothing else I would get the sups as reccommended right from the start. the minerals and other such things will help to begin with and to make things better later as time goes on. BUT if I had a choice there is another great possibility .. email me and I will tell you where to get help for edema partiqularly!!! and non invasive to other meds.. I need to know what your zipcode is.. to give you proper info, Goldie |
| When I see other peoples medicines schedule-I am happy to be here taking care of my health I only wish to drop weight more easily-life would be perfection Being 'here' creates understanding. BTD prevents damage from eating avoids. Thanks Dr D & your sups - all support and friendships |

Thanks, Lola...will do.
Thanks, Goldie. I have him on the BT O basic Pack from NAP. His Dr. just added lasex(SP?) for his swollen ankles/water. He quit his one cup of coffee and likes naturally decaffeinated peppermint or chamomile tea. He now takes coumadin, amiodarone, digoxin and courec(SP?). He hates taking meds and wants off asap. An angiogram and another shock is scheduled for next week. |

Is he using cayenne pepper? I bought 40,000 Heat Units from HH and used it for congestion (COPD) 1/4 teaspoon in tea and more sprinkled on most foods I ate then. I was on oxygen 24/7 and was able to get completely off.
I was on lasics but also drank parsley tea many times a day, to empty out when swollen with edema, also added Lemon juice to tea and water. Helped, a lot! What did he give him 40 mg or more? I was on 40 until they became non effective, then he switched me to torisomide started with 50 mg then increased to 100. Of course, I had to start taking potassium, because releasing so much water takes away potassium in body, and I couldn't eat enough to maintain it. So took 2- 20 mg a day, increased to 2 more. So it remains at that now. and only can get it up to 3.6 which is low end of numbers, but safe still. Best to your dad and to you. |

Dr D juice of 3-4 lemons was the equivalent to a dose of coumadin. Blood type A is associated with elevated Factor VIII* which in part is probably related to their higher rates of heart attack. There is some evidence that lemons help control factor VIII. http://www.dadamo.com/forum/archive6/config.pl?read=20825
