I don't expect a long discussion in this thread, but I just had to share the good news. I've been on the BTD for about six months now, maybe less, and today I went to my doctor to hear my lab work results. I was so pleased to find out that my triglyceride level had dropped from 149 to 117. HDL up to 39 from 31.   And this is with a diet that includes beef (grass fed), eggs, and butter! And of course, plenty and plenty of greens and other good stuff. Yay, me!  And much thanks to Dr. D.

That's all. Had to share.

its so encouraging.. maybe you wish to add to 'Garlands for DrD'  as we all celebrate his wellbeing along with our  own.

Being here is invaluable, but not enough. We need ALL the Doctors. I needed them for a very small cancer spot-I could never feel!!! Please do your mammograms! Doing so saved me from cancer later on. I am grateful! Thanks for learning from my experience! I was lucky! I wish the same for YOU!

Congratulations with your recent success on your blood tests.  It's just a indicator of better things to come with this protocol.

Oops!!! Corrected that original post.  "GRASS" fed beef, not grain fed.

But I bet you all knew that.
