this is my new mantra....I say it to myself many times a day! I actually feel centered and calm when I say it, and I am not really an affirmations type of person. This one is working for me. For one thing, it doesn't say "diet". I am sick of that word. Menu sounds much nicer. And it means your meal plan. Or your grocery list. Or, if out to eat, it is a page from which to choose your meal. So I choose wisely!

I choose my menu wisely.....

I'm with you.  I choose the word "protocol" when referring to my eating plan.  The word "diet" has a negative connotation.

"Waiter, could you bring me the Hunter Menu?"
Menu is a great way to say it, nice re-frame on that! I think diet is good for people who really want to loose weight, like Denver foodie I've used protocol too.....

Protocol sounds very "medicinal" to me- something that might include dietary changes but also might include supplements or other therapies. "Menu" is just postive all around.

I like it a lot

Menu implies a variety of choice - freedom is a high priority for me.  Thanks I'm going to use this mantra too.

Goldie,
I love those quotes! Still hope for a Blood type "menu"/ Geno type "menu" restaurant to materialize.....in my lifetime!

I pondered the idea of a Genotype restaurant with only one dish per Genotype served each day.  But who would come?  Unless the GTD went nationwide gangbusters, my restaurant would go under within a year.

... and there are individualities even within the same genotypes ... I can see it working in a self-serve and cook type of environment ... I am not sure if they have  such places somewhere in the world where you select from shelves, fridges and displays, the raw foods you want to eat and then take them to the cashier and pay for the chef to make you a curry, or tai dish, a stew, or a soup, or stir fry. Go, sit down and a few minutes later, out comes the fully cooked dish, tailored to yourself ... did I see that in a movie somewhere?

Buffet instead?

and I like using the word Menu too. I was using the word choices and I am a positive affirmations type person so this works for me.

There's a BTD restaurant in Singapore - meant to go when I was in Singapore (in January) but didn't get a chance with seeing family and all.  Perhaps when I go home to Oz in March......

even a gluten free or a "BTD Awareness Cafe'" using alt. flours. and different BT dressing. Keeping meats and veggies simple. Guest chooses by blood type. Menu would be somewhat simpler, that way.
