Dad is a B+.  Mom is an O+.  My oldest sister is an O-, middle sister a B+ and I'm an O+.

I've known I'm a non-secretor from a saliva test for years.  I finally got mom and dad to test.  Mom has bad teeth and mosquitos never touch her.  Dad has perfect teeth and mosquitos eat him up.  So I was surprised to learn they are BOTH non-secretors.  I was with them when they did the tests so I know they did them right.  The mosquito thing was an assumption I'd made about secreting in sweat and maybe mosquitos could pick up something more from a secretor.  

I assume this also means both my older sisters are also non-secretors as well.  Is this a true statement?   I should be sure before I tell them they are non-secretors as well.  Anything more I can derive from the test?

I don't believe you can assume your sisters are also non-secretors.  

Nonsecretor is a recessive trait.

If both parents are nonsecretors, all children will be nonsecretors.

I was told when I asked this question that if both parents are non-secretors then their children will also be non-secretors. The way I understand it is that because the nonnie allele is recessive you have to get one from each parent, which leaves a non-secretor only nonnie alleles to pass on. (Kind of like you need two O alleles to be an O.)
So yes, your sisters would both be non-secretors as well.

Welcome...a whole family of O's, B's and nonnies...sounds like my family.  My parents and brothers have not been secretor tested, but by the way their health was and is...I would say they were and are all nonnies like me.
