My ND has me on a wheat, barley, all forms of yeast, cow and goat dairy free 4 day rotation diet. Its been 2 weeks and I am craving a piece of toast! My nasal symptoms are still bad, but our weather is windy. I am supposed to follow this eating plan for 90 days to see if it reduces my asthma type wheeze, excess mucus, post nasal drip and coughing. I may have yeast overgrowth? I have been trying to follow BTD for A+ for one year. Any other A's out there with chronic sinus problems? I am so hungry and would love some suggestions!

Hi Cajun - Welcome!

I'm those also... both an A and a Cajun too!

Anyway, have you tried oil-pulling?

In addition to strictly following the BT diet for A's, I'm convinced oil-pulling was beneficial in assisting me with my previous sinus issues.  I no longer suffer from asthma, wheezing and mucous overload.

I also drink lots of lemon water.

As far as hungry goes, try increasing your veggies, fruits and some brown rice. Tinkyada makes some really great rice pasta.

Thanks everyone for the good advice. I have tried Collinsonia....no change. I drink fresh lemon water each morning. I don't know about oil-pulling?! What is that? My ND gave me some nasal oil drops called Nasya and told me to rinse with Neilmed/saline each day. They help somewhat. Will I ever get to eat decent toast again?
