Yes this was a problem for me and my daughter we are now aware of the problem but much of the live right diet helps anyway. emily responed very well to allergies diet which amonst other things is low in glycemic index food on the whole i think. but once you are aware of it you can beat it if you want to.
although be warned you become very sensitove to foods for a while - i'm right at that point now - but it is supposed to ease after about 6 weeks so i'm told here's hoping by quick temper get short shift lol

Now I am not foretelling anything.. BUT I AM OF THE BELIEVE that Diabetes ll is neglect to deal with it debilitating factors 40-50 years earlier. . 1. for instance if I look back over my life.. bear with me: when I was 19 - I was hospitalized with stomach bug over night and left for 5 days on ginger ale and jell-O.. AFTER that idiotic neglect ( doc went on convention) I was told I had HIGH blood sugar... I discarded it as it never came up again!! Today maybe I would pay attention and start on not 'no sugar' but rather smarter sugar things.. today we have them.. 85% choc instead of 50. BTD food to start with early.. Multis for VIT and MINERALS from BTD - NAP store - saves money.. [/color] At 21 I got married and my 'hormones' changed- I stated to gain weight -- I was regular.. so why even think about it? the fact that I had a 'belly' all my life was never seen as needing attention for optimum health concerns. today I would include Larch from NAP Probiotic from NAP both for better intestinal health (I was reg - I did not know I needed it then or since-- the belly ??? ) At 21 I noticed water retention more than before --- on the pill and 10 pounds more and I looked 7 month pregnant. Thyroid tested ok as it still does.. Today I would look to take Bladder wrack to improve metabolic health and regulates THYROID activity to promote weight loss and CHROMIUM to help metabolize carbohydrates and deflect to protect against 'school' lunches.... By the time I was 45 I found out my father had diabetes.. what I knew about diabetes was that the med. would only make the men impotent.. not my problem.. Today I would: add CROMIUM to prevent diabetic -whatever and -aid blood sugar regulation. Start eating Fenugreek as a spice and in tea, and Asian ginseng to stabilize blood sugar and prevent post meal HYPERGLYCEMIA.. WHICH I HAD AND NEVER UNDERSTOOD - thought it was just lack of food or nerves from over work.. dadada mental.. Then finally by the time I would have been 60 and had developed NERVE DAMAGE neuropathy pain .. I might not have developed diabetes or much worse if not for going on BTD which saved me from total disaster- even if I did not know why- I knew instinctively 14 years ago when I had added 30 more pounds that I needed BTD... SO today I would ( I will have to do all the above somehow and add: Alpha Lipoic acid to improve neuropathy pain.. Dandelion to reduce EDEMA .. is it interesting that I make juice ever since I developed a pneumonia and found out about dandilion and BTD...
Stinging nettle to reduce edema and Cayenne pepper to relieve numbness from Neuropathic pain in the extremities.. DO YOU WONDER if I could be right?? and could it be that reg med. don't address those issues.. I grant we know much more today.. and have access to all these things from NAP Blood type specific// we are so much advanced.. EONS ahead.. making these connections is unreal and when you consider that I am Geno Gatherer then it all makes the smart domino's tumble --- JACKPOT. my spellcheck does not work.. |

as you detox, your body gets more sensitive toward avoids.....so try to stay compliant and learn how to substitute when cravings hit |

healthy4: I was starting to have hypoglycemic symptoms prior to BTD. I took chromium but it didn't help. Then BTD eliminated at least 99% of the symptoms. I figure that I wasn't getting the protein that my body craved since I was eating very little meat and replacing that with beans and grains, which I don't digest well. |

runs in the family (from dad). i had bad probs with as a teen. i have less probs now but that was becuse i had noticed a need for animal protean at regulare intervals even before the bt. and yea noticed a sensitivaty to avoids as well. like today had pizza (gluron wheat crust/ pork sausage) and had stomac upset with gas. fortunatly no one at work put it down to me, becuse the cook was worse off than me! but then he is not on the bt. |
| nothing to do? who has that!? swami made me an explorer! |
