Day #1 ~ No coffee - whoo hoo

I made coffee for my wife and made myself a cup of Yerba "Lola" Mate with fresh squeezed lemon. It was delicious

Not sure about getting through weekends yet so we'll see...

Golf!  Way to go!

Once that coffee cycle is broken, it may be that you can "enjoy" a little on the weekends.  It all depends on how addiction-prone you are.

Always pullin' for you!

V~ much appreciated and it is nice to know you are This is quite astounding to me as well. I cannot tell you (before yesterday) the last time I did not begin my day with a big mug of hot Starbucks fresh ground Organic Mexican Shade Grown. Has to be ten years..?

Congratulations!!! You Rock!

I used to drink a couple of cups of black tea everyday. Completely addicted. I started the GTD and decided to go for it since I'd been feeling poorly. It was a little hard at first, but I felt so much more awake in the afternoon I've been able to keep it up. Good luck to you.

I find it interesting that decaf coffee isn't broken out with a separate value in GTD/SWAMI. For an explorer, I would think decaf coffee would be better than coffee. I don't really miss coffee TOO much, but I like coffee as a flavoring for desserts. I love my green tea. I haven't had YM; it's neutral in my SWAMI. Blackstrap molasses in hot water is pretty good!

I drank a tad bit of decaf at Panera about 2 months ago and I swaer it made me feel weird.  I don't know if it is the process or not, but I've yet to try anything else.  I don't really miss it.  I got my lemon water and different herbal tea.

WAY TO GO GOLFZILLA!

True, decaf, unless it is water processed, is full of chemicals.
