I didn't! Some prints look like they wouldn't be whorls and they were. Now I understand why I have so many. |

That was fun, thanks Andrea. Also got 12 out of 12. There was one of those tented arches though that looked like it had a little loop on the left side. I have some fingerprints like that and think they are loops as well as arches. Not sure how I would put those into SWAMI when I get that eventually. |

I got 9/12. But then they kept the 3 errors highlighted, so I reclassified those, and got them correct the 2nd time around. |

Good exercise! Just 1 threw me off... I could have sworn it was a loop, not an arch! |

Counting Deltas helps to classify the patterns. Whorls have two deltas Loops have one delta Arches have no deltas. So if you get confused just count the deltas and follow the rules. Hey Claire I knew you would join in a game, you wanted to win. |

Very interesting! It took me a bit of work to complete them all accurately, but this was my first time examining fingerprints. Ok, I'll get better at this! Their description of the difference between ulnar and radial loops was opposite of what I thought it was, by the way. . |

I got 9/12 cuz I thought that those tented arches should be loops. Someone said any one delta makes a loop!! Next time, I should take the test before reading the thread! |

I got 11 out of 12 because one of the Arches looks exactly like one of my prints that everyone (including someone at NAP) thought was a Loop! |

Not me. I told you it was an arch. |

Got 11 out of 12. Third-from-the-last fooled me. Great find!
Too bad more of these are not available online. |

Hi Mrs T O+ - I thought that too, a tented arch looks like it has a delta in the middle but it's not really a delta because it's doesn't have a significant recurving line which passes in front of the delta. There's more about tented arches at http://www.dadamo.com/cgi-bin/Blah/Blah.pl?m-1250748405/s-18/highlight-tented+arch/Administrators - it makes me wonder if we should sticky that thread under the Genotype Diet because there would have to be people wondering what they are and they're not in the book. Maybe rename it "One Delta - Tented Arch" |

That fingerprint lesson was fun! But I don't think I'll have a second career as a CSI. I did not read the whole thread and forgot to count the deltas, so only got 9/12 correct. I couldn't get the second part to open. I have been off of wheat for over a year and still have white lines. |

Depending on how much healing needed to take place, it may be another year (or more) before all of the white lines are gone... We each have a different journey to go through the healing process. Just keep healing and you're on the right path. |

Got all twelve.
I have 2 like the strange one ( looks like a Greek key design) but I have not been calling them whirls.
SWAMI has an option - "composite" - thats what I selected. Hope that is right because I don't want to list 6 whirls on my SWAMI. |
