| I need your help as well on this. I typed my husband who came out to 53% Warrior!!! No problems there. But I am having some real issues with my Genotype. I have the same problem as Laura T from an earlier post. If I put in white lines I become a 37% hunter, if I do not put in white lines, I am a 36% explorer. I had a devil of a time trying to see my fingerprints. They are extremely light and according to the info on fingerprinting, worn out prints are a sign of gluten intolerance. I have lines on the lower part of my fingers closer to the joint, but no visible lines in my fingerprints. The diets for both explorer and hunter for me are very close, explorer is 2 less servings per week on fish, chicken becomes neutral and more servings per day of grains (rice). The 7 servings of fish per week on the hunter diet seem to really agree with me. What should I do? I have switched up my diet during the past week (concentrating on more fish) and I have lost 5 lbs of body fat, but with that loss comes a constant feeling of wanting to throw up (this happens every time I lose fat, I think the toxins have a hard time moving through my system). Coffee doesn't affect me (except it is my personal drug of choice, it calms me down), but if I need to have medicine, I need to go to the children's dose or lightest dose possible. I cannot tolerate gluten or lactose. Which diet would you use? |

You are the second person to note an Explorer-Hunter conundrum based on white lines. Since you noted tht the diets are very close it is probably not critical which you choose. Not being able to see your prints indicates the same gut issues as white lines unless you are a brick-layer or something. Based on that I would keep the white lines checked on your SWAMI. If you get improvement in that area later you can go back and change the input. |

Hunter. With those percentages it will almost always hybridize the diet systems, so you'll wind up wind the 'Jean B' diet anyway. |

| Thank you Dr. D. and Lloyd. Hunter it is. (I was hoping for Hunter, it seems to be more familiar to me). Jean |

| Ok so I did my swami and if I put in white lines, which are almost gone, but I have celiac disease so I have been gluten free for 2 years it comes up 50% hunter. When I take out white lines it says 47% Gatherer. Which one should I use? O so positive |

We're so fortunate to have Dr. D himself to clarify these type of questions! |

Does Dr. D's response about the white lines mean that while your blood type stays the same throughout your life, your geno type can change based on your diet and living conditions? |

I have those awful fingerprint issues, and gluten issues, and my explorer swami pretty much took away all the problematic grains. Except that it left spelt in. I am using it very occasionally when I really want a baked item. But other than that I have a hunter like explorer diet. I still can't express how much I like the lists that I got, it feels sort of magical. |

Quoted from 6311 Does Dr. D's response about the white lines mean that while your blood type stays the same throughout your life, your geno type can change based on your diet and living conditions? What changes is how the SWAMI or a practitioner views a person's secondary characteristics. The basic measurements are set after full growth. What changes is a person's need to have individualized factors taken into account. With a SWAMI the GT is more a convenient label than anything since the diet is made for one person. A person following the basic GTD without a SWAMI or practitioner will not change GT's once properly determined. |
