I'm struggling a little with the recipe database - can anyone help me?

I'm searching for items which are suitable for A secretors and O nonnies. It seems that every recipe title that I think has possibilities, when I open it, at least one of the key ingredients is an avoid for one of us. Usually tamari or sugar, or something which can't be substituted. I'm a little confused why the recipes come up in my search at all?

Note to self: I am me, and also an O-nonnie - I'm allowed not to fit the mould.

recipes can be tweaked to your needs.....
always look for compatible subs to every avoid in a recipe.

tamari and sugar can both be substituted with no problem.

try spices and vegetable glycerine whenever convenient.

Are you using the cross match function at the bottom of the recipe search page?

That usually works well for me, but if it is producing incompatible recipes for you you could try specifying both blood types in the " Optional Extra Searching" section of the recipe search page and search for recipes that interest you

MIfHI                            I follow a SWAMI diet.
