Help! I've been on the GTD diet for about a month now. I use a magnified lighted mirror to put on make up every morning and I swear my eye color is changing. My eyes were fairly green/gray with some brown flecks in them, but seem to be turning blue! Am I imagining this or does this have something to do with the diet (which is going very well). |

Iridologists say that the only pure eye colors are brown and blue, and as you get healthier, your eyes can go more in either direction.
I checked out my eye color this week too, they were once blue with kind of a yellow/gold radiating out from the middle (making them look greenish from a distance), now the middle color is less yellow, more brown and receding a bit. I like it...I never liked that weird yellow color.
My fingerprint ridge height and white lines are very slowly starting to improve as well.
Both changes are subtle, it will be interesting to see what I have in a year.
My sister had a boyfriend once who told us his eye color changed when he had malaria (blue to green I think). We didn't believe him at the time. |

WOW!!! Thanks! Does this mean I'm going to have to buy a different color eye shadow to compliment my new eye color! |

When i was younger my eyes fluctuated between blue and green, i always thought that the colors i wore were making my eyes look a different color. When i'm really good diet wise people comment me on my green eyes, my normal green eyes seem to turn more green (if that makes sense?). Last night when i was at walmart looking at clothes, a cute little girl kept looking up at me (her mom was looking at clothes on the same rack as me) i thought it was because i'm soo tall and kids usually look at me like i'm an amazon!. Anyways, after we looked back and forth at each other for a couple of minutes she said in a sweet voice that my eyes are pretty. After being sick for over a month i'm finally feeling better, juicing and trying to feel up on as many diamond foods as possible!. I guess it's finally paying off!. |

Hi Melissa, I also have blue eyes with yellow in the middle. I commented once to my naturopath (who does iridology) about the yellow/brown in the middle and she said that was my bowel. So your saying that the yellow is receding and your white lines are improving, both sound like you are well on your way to healing your gut! well done. I have heaps of white lines, so I will be watching both my eyes and my fingerprints for signs of improvement. |

Eye color will tend to be more muddy or opaque when the bowels are sluggish or the liver functions are overburdened. As the body becomes more healthy and the organs are working at optimum efficiency, the color will become clear and luminous. |

Yes, that's right. I've had digestive issues of some sort or other for most of my life. The yellow in my eyes used to radiate out immediately from the pupil, but now there's just a smaller brownish ring a bit further away from the pupil, and it all looks more clear and distinct, less muddy. The fingerprints seem to improve first at the index finger, then gradually progress out toward the pinkie. You can also watch the middle of each print pattern for more distinct ridges, mine used to be pretty well worn down in the middle, but are now becoming visible. I had some intolerance tests done with enterolab for milk and soy. When the soy came back positive they urged me to get tested for egg intolerance because they often go together. I bet that's because explorers often have both, and I also bet that many of their clients are explorers. Of course, at the time, I didn't want to explore the option of giving up eggs, so I didn't order the test. I think I'm seeing some results now. |

Just another "me, too" post. I've always had green eyes. I'm starting to see a blue strip around the outer rim of my irises. *Cool*
I heard or read a long time ago (25+ years) that all babies are born with blue eyes and then toxins in the diet cause the color to change. I think it was from a health newsletter called "Alternatives." |
| My SWAMI diet is a blend of BTD and GTD Explorer, but I'm not totally compliant. Also I try to choose foods that have a Low Glycemic index. DW and DD are A+, probably also Explorer. |

The blue strip around your eye is showing that you are getting sluggish veins, I believe. I'm getting a white strip around mine which is the next step up (which is bad). It is from my head area down almost to the feet area but only on one side. ...Aani |

I'm another blue-eyed person with yellow-brown rays around the pupil. I've noticed that since following the BTD with higher compliance my eye color is brighter and clearer and the yellow-brown area has reduced considerably. My eyes are fairly deepset and it's difficult to see the color, but I've had several people comment on how blue my eyes are, which is rather nice |

I ate two pieces of avoid fish (on different days) by accident, and now my eyes have gone back to the gray/green color they were before. I've also had constipation along with headache and body aches and pains.
Boy, if that doesn't keep me compliant I can't imagine what would!!! Thank goodness Explorers have great gene repair! I'm eating mostly diamonds foods for a while until I feel better. |

My eyes have changed colors for years. They are a dark blue green and I get compliments on the color all the time. When I am upset they turn an intense green. |

I've been taking milk thistle for a couple of months, maybe that's why my eyes seem to be getting alot clearer and the color is more intense. |

What does milk thistle help? Liver? Do you take it as a capsule or tea? |

This is weird. My eyes are blue. Used to be grey, but I learned which colors I'm supposed to wear (warm, not cool), and now my eyes are blue. Didn't occur to me that diet plays a part too. My dad's eyes are brown with lots and lots of gold (yellow?) flecks. |
