There was a request in the genotype percentages thread to know genotype percentages by blood type.

Here is a survey for type O.

Note that once you have voted you cannot change a value.

Actually, now my husband and I can follow the same diet and so can the kids even though that may change in the future. It makes shopping and cooking easier.

Mr. OS and I are (him) Hunter & me-Gatherer, the differences aren't too bad, and I'm relieved, shopping- and cooking-wise.

Gatherer and Teacher here. I only got the book yesterday but from a brief check it seems as though our diets are moving even further apart....

Note to self: I am me, and also an O-nonnie - I'm allowed not to fit the mould.

Technically, I'm a Gatherer, but it doesn't feel at all right. I'm a Hunter on everything except that my ring and index fingers are equal.   I'm testing out the Hunter diet.  I would love to gain some weight, no padding on me.  If it doesn't work for me, I'll switch to Gatherer.

I'm the first "Unknown Secretor Status - Explorer."  I wonder if I should bother getting my secretor status tested?  Does being an O Explorer mean that I'm a nonnie?  I'll be really interested to see O secretors (if any) answer the poll.

My SWAMI diet is a blend of BTD and GTD Explorer, but I'm not totally compliant.  Also I try to choose foods that have a Low Glycemic index.  DW and DD are A+, probably also Explorer.

Looking at the advanced chart one can see there are more paths that lead to explorer if you are a nonecretor. But there are paths through the calculator that lead to explorer for O secretors. For instance, a secreting secreting male with legs longer than torso and lower legs longer than upper and longer index fingers is an explorer.

Genotype does not determine secretor status. The way the calculations are set up knowing your secretor status is one factor that determines genotype. Knowing your secretor status would allow you to use the advanced calculator and might change your Genotype.

You can use the advanced calculator to see, if secretor status would make any difference to your genotype selection, before you decide to spend money on the secretor test.

I've been wondering if birth order affects genotype.  Do first borns tend to be Hunter or Gatherer?

I'm a first born and a Hunter.  I am waiting to find out what my sisters are.  I have 3 younger sisters, all Blood Type O, each one is shorter than the one before. (We told Mom she had better stop as she was running out of building material! )

I'm a hunter, third born of ten.  It would be really interesting to find out my brothers and sisters genotypes.  My parents are both O's so I at least know they are all O's.

My daughter (O+,non-secretor), the firstborn, is a gatherer like my husband.
