I think the fillings are going to affect different people differently. I'm an A Explorer and I noticed a big difference with a tiny filling I didn't even need numbed for. (Brain fog and irritability) My husband, an O Hunter, had the same size and he didn't notice anything. I think he was a little less irritable, but that could have been because I was.

I still think he has more yeast than me based on sugar cravings, etc. Probably at the time. Maybe that was mitigating it better? Don't know.

The dentist I went to had a near death toxic experience himself. My limited experience with guessing people's blood types tells me that he's an A. He also had a huge load, both in his mouth and exposure in his profession.

My mom, who is an A, and has a whole host of issues, could probably have a great deal traced back to both fillings and the fact that she would play with mercury in her hands at the dental office she assisted at when she was in high school.

But her dentist now (not wholistic) says her filings look fine. Her dentist now, I suspect, is still placing amalgams. My mom listens to her people because she trusts them and I am just her little girl.

*sigh*

Side ramble. Good to vent a little leftover frustration.

I had all my 8 removed several years ago. I had depression with no reason I could figure. I saw a report about dental amalgums and had them removed. My problem went away after. I then only had depression around the holidays and saw another program about sugar. Stopped that as well and dont get depressed around the holidays anymore. i do get stress for sure with all that is going on in my life but I am not depressed.

Wow, PrincessMia, that's impressive! I'm in the process of having my amalgams removed - I really hope this will help my periodic depression.

Thanks for sharing your observations!

What bugs me the most is dentists w/ composite fillings say that amalgams are PERFECTLY safe.

Ignorance is the word that comes to mind for mainstream doctors and dentists. I am sure they mean no harm, at least I hope so, I believe they only know what they have been taught. My preferred choice of words are what they were brainwashed with. Like when I went to beauty school. They told us a product would do this or that. Once you mature, you realize it was all c**p.

That's what their organization tells them. There's some sketchiness in the history of that.

Get grounded. Profound learnings from this book and a recent experience I had. Too long to share much here. http://www.earthing.com

Developed an extreme electrosensitivity/charge build up as best as I could tell. Mental and physical manifestations. I almost passed out grounding myself in the basement (just putting barefeet on concrete), such a huge physiological shift (in a profoundly good way).

Need to get off the computer as I don't have a ground setup here yet and if I type too much in the past few days, my fingers get tingling.

I'm also going to work on rebuilding my mineral base.

Off to ground.

I've had a grounding mat for over a year now. Never really felt a difference. I use it everyday, but feel like I wasted my money on it.

Sounds like it works for you though.

Quoted from Don
Large chunks of metal in your body may indirectly be a problem, but the real problem is the molecular metal that ends up spreading around your body and causing problems with the weaker parts of your body.

I believe that heavy metals and metals are by far the most toxic substances to the human body, with mercury being the absolute worst and most common and lead a frequent and common second. Other metals are also a problem, such as aluminum, cadmium, etc, but not nearly as common.

If you address the key toxins the body becomes much more able to deal with all the other toxins. However, I do not recommend most of the commonly advertised methods of metal chelation.
Would love to hear more of what Don does/did recommend...

Mark-- are you plugged into a grounded outlet or the ground itself? The instructions on my device say to put the rod in the ground where there is a plant growing. It also said that someone electrosensitive might not want to use the outlet ground.

I would check all my connections and the device.

In the book, one doctor recalls that many patients didn't realize that it was doing anything for them. He has to remind them of their prior complaints.

I also look at this as something necessary where effects come as a result of not having it. So bully for not feeling anything.

Also the body still needs time to make corrections and it has a priority level.

My reaction was dramatic because I was in emergency mode.

You are dealing with super subtle energy, which (and I would think someone was a bit off if they told me this a year ago) I have the ability to feel. I've been through some body work trainings and realized I could feel subtle energy. Not having the proper boundary, being sensitive to intake, I got myself in a mess of trouble. Ironically, one of the instructors has you imagine being grounded. I didn't need to expand my field to connect to the ground (kind of suspect practice IMO)-- I actually needed to be on the ground. Duh. Rant over.

Different muscle mass/density of tissue in different people can affect sensitivity.

I'm also suspecting phase angle and cell membrane has something to do with it (if not sensitivity, then resistence).

New term-- electron deficiency

Well, I can certainly try that. I use an outlet, unfortunately. I live on the second floor, so finding ground where plants are growing is not going to be easy.

When I first used it, it did feel slightly ticklish on the bottoms of my feet. Not so anymore.

Thanks for the info on the book. I just reserved it from my library.

It got me wondering- DD2 has  been having some trouble lately with not feeling well and having trouble focusing. It started around the time it got too cold for her to walk outside barefoot (which she does whenever she can get away with it- she'd go for 2 mile walks and carry her shoes rather than wear them.)

Regulates sleep pattern and cortisol. People that ground after changing time zones report no jet lag.

1st night I woke 2 times as was happening lately, but able to go back to sleep immediately. Not waking up that I remember now (after just a few days of use).
