3 years ago - Diagnosis of high liver - got it down with Milk Thistle and Artichoke.  Have been randomly taking them - I just got lab work back high liver and high iron again.  This is scary because 1 out of 3 women with high iron become diabetic.  Diabetics are on both sides of the family and I am looking for something to prevent diabetics and strengthen my liver so iron is not stored in the liver.  Does anyone know Phosphatidy Choline is an avoid for Os?

Consider it the same as lecithin for avoid purposes (okay for all). Whether it is suited for your issues I don't know. The encyclopedia lists phos. serine as useful for B (chronic illness) and AB (nerve health).

check your body for high copper as it contributes to
high iron.

eat more brown rice, oatmeal and manna and spelt bread every
day......the phytates in these grains can
potentially decrease your iron levels.

leafy green vegetables have oxlylates in them that
can lower iron stores.

Calcium can also decrease iron..

go very easy on foods that are high in vitamin C (especially
citrus) as these contribute to iron absorption.

have you considered bloodletting as treatment for excess iron?

Iron cookware should not be used.
