My husband is 53 and we recently had him tested out at the NP's office with salivia testing for Andropause symptoms. Indeed he had hormonal levels out of balance.
So she prescribed Cod Liver Oil (he's an A secretor), and flax seed, etc.
My question is, should he follow the individualized plan for Type A in Dr. D's Menopause Book?

It wouldn't hurt! I read over it this morning and it looks good. Interesting how the addition of flax seed, flax seed oils, soy milk and cod liver oils helped his testotserone levels without having to use synthetic prescribed testosterone.
He also recently quit eating meat, WHICH I NEVER THOUGHT HE'D DO!!! He went to the doc and had his yearly physical and his cholesterol levels were somewhat elevated. He'd been watching me do the BTD and hearing my little comments from time to time about meat being bad for A's and so he finally said 'no more meat,' of his own accord! Now he's getting more and more into the other aspects of the compliant food sources.
But catsup... well I'm not sure he will EVER give that one up! HAAA.... Loves it on eggs which he only eats about 2-3 times a week.
