I recently bought the Allergies Book by Dr. D.
I have swami also.
I get hayfever spring/early summer and also have food intolerances/sensitivities.
I have some other health challenges gall bladder etc.

Just wondering if anyone has thoughts on following one over the other?
Or combining both?

thanks,
Lin

It maybe more effective following the liver protocol for type A for your gallbladder. in addition to your swami.

You might look at your SWAMI settings.

Having other things besides allergies checked off as health issues may mute or cancel dietary changes that SWAMI would otherwise suggest for allergy.

It's just not always straightforward.

I'll say! I checked only allergies/auto immune and environmental allergies and I get nori back as a diamond. Interesting as I have been craving nori and with other things checked off, it was listed as a total avoid. Other beneficials became avoids!

Interesting, Dianne....

Lin, you could try the supplements suggested in the Allergies book (starting at page 115 of the paperback) and continue with SWAMI.

My SWAMI diet is a blend of BTD and GTD Explorer, but I'm not totally compliant.  Also I try to choose foods that have a Low Glycemic index.  DW and DD are A+, probably also Explorer.

yes to the above... and possible add some local honey to immunize you every day..

Being here is invaluable, but not enough. We need ALL the Doctors. I needed them for a very small cancer spot-I could never feel!!! Please do your mammograms! Doing so saved me from cancer later on. I am grateful! Thanks for learning from my experience! I was lucky! I wish the same for YOU!

Lloyd,
thanks, I reduced the boxes I ticked to 4, and it changes the foods and is more in line with the allergy book guidelines.

PC,
I am doing stuff for GB also, that has been ongoing.

Thanks to all for all the good suggestions which I will check out.

This is my approach also.  For allergies, and for any other health issue.  I follow my SWAMI closely, and add in supplements - either from the relevant health series book or from the online health Protocols.
