Quoted from SquarePeg
If you can buy tumeric whole, do so.  Shavings from the fresh root are sweeter than the powdered spice.  You'll want to add it to many foods and even tea!

I am already grinding so many different things a little break from that sits well with me right now! I add turmeric to salads, soups, poultry, fish - like I said, I LOVE turmeric!

The new turmeric capsules I take in the morning have such a strong beautiful fragrance, that one capsule taken as is actually serves as a spice to my scrambled egg

Store bought curry contains  black pepper. So I make my own.

I add most of diamond or beneficial spices to tumeric and use on all of cooked vegetable and salmon and cod.

For me it is bay leaf, cinnamon, fennel, oregno, rosemary, sage and clove which is only neutrals.
It gives lots of flavor.

The turmeric I have contains a minimum of 4% curcumin, USDA Organic.

Thinking of you, Sunnyside!!!
You have reminded me that instead of just tossing it into my soups that I need to be sprinkling turmeric on my veggies and eggs, also!
