I made walnut butter yesterday using English walnuts but added some beneficial cinnamon, rice bran oil and a little agave.  The result was almost like eating candy.

Then I took half of the walnut butter and added tamari roasted almonds and pecans for a whole new taste treat.  A different candy flavor. But the almonds and pecans were left a little chunky on purpose.

ouuu! Can you share how to do it?  like how many nuts, do you smash them.. run them through a processor, etc?

Our cheating way to eating a pecan pie is to take 1/2 of a large date and stuff it full of walnut pieces...  OMG!!! it's amazing!  one of the best deserts I've ever eaten!  My husband likes to add a bit of ghee to the date before he smashes in the walnuts!!!

mouth watering heaven!!!

I have a small food processor, so I just took 2 large handfuls of walnuts and threw them in there...then added a few squirts (out of the bottle) about 2 tsp of agave or less plus drizzled in a little oil as the processor was running...And I don't know how much oil it was -- maybe also a few tsp.I didn't measure.  My result wasn't super creamy....more like dry peanut butter. As for cinnamon, I kept tasting it till I felt it was right.  Maybe 1/2 tsp.
