Hi Serenity,
I don't know where you are located, but Jason Malia practices in Sydney. Check out his website here

Hope this helps.

Adam, swami changes me from warrior to teacher, I must be a close tie between the two.  I tried the warrior supps for two years, i don't think they did a lot for me personally, I am about to order the teacher pack to see how that goes.
I don't have an issue with weight just my digestion is still not right I really can't go a whole week without fish which makes the teacher diet seem right to me.  Someone suggested explorer for me but i am very sinewy & definately an ectomorph but I have a longer head/jaw like a warrior, so I am a little confused right now, I wish we had professional swami practitioners here in Australia as I really think I am not getting my measurements right!

I know I'm not Warrior.  Every time I go on the Warrior diet, I lose weight way too quickly and the food choices just don't "feel" right.  The digestion issues are the main key, I think, to determining Teacher vs. Warrior.  But, who knows?  A trip to Connecticut would really solve it, I suppose, but who has money for that these days?  I guess some people do, but not me.  I don't really trust seeing a local practitioner, I'd want to visit the main clinic.  Hope you get it all figured out.  It's not easy sometimes.

Adam,
I agree with what Chloe said.
One answer changes My swami from teacher to explorer...
Your Swami srengths/passes are so close to mine...but I am not lactose intolerant and am ISFJ.
I also believe in getting nutrients from food first, but as Ruthie said, how good is the soil? So, a few main supplements will only help.
As a fellow A I can testify that deflect is heaven sent for the A gut. I don't know about the deflect for the other types but I won't be without ours. I don't use it daily...but am sure glad i have it.
I haven't felt the need to try the teacher pack (especially since I identify with explorer in so many ways) but the basic A pack has been in my system for about 3 years now. *
Note* I only take one capsule of each daily...not the recommended 2-4.

Currently taking the following supplements for various reasons:

Methyl B12 - first thing in the morning with my green tea, mainly for a burst of energy in the gym (1/day)

Teacher 3 Pack - because it's the highest rated in my SWAMI (2/day)

Deflect - because it is such a great supplement in its own right, I could tell improvement in my joints after the first day (4-6/day)

Protein Powder - when I don't want to cook a meal, or am hungry between meals on heavy workout days

Harmonia Deluxe - 2 teaspoons in the protein drink, I like this stuff a lot

CLA - on heavy workout days to help build muscle and burn fat

Tranquility Base/Cortiguard - occasionally when I'm stressed

I also have Ashwagandha (NOW brand) which is good stuff, helps me relax and get to sleep.

...check the DPN store to see the new Genotype Supplements....they're all different formulations...no longer three bottles...Every genotype gets one bottle of specifics plus an oil supplement for their type.....Haven't checked them all out...don't know why they've been re-formulated.  Wondering if anyone has noticed the difference or has tried the new versions.

Just noticed Warriors still get 3 formulas...an Activator and Catalyst plus an oil...maybe that will change...

The GenoType formulas have been adjusted based on experience with the old formula's, new research and ingredient availability. For instance, some of the new formula's include trehalose, which Dadamo was not using when the GenoType book was written. But his recent experience with patient indicates is quite valuable for most types.

The Warrior and Nomad formulations will go to a two bottle system with new ingredients when existing supplies of Activator and Catalyst are exhausted.

I have the new
Teacher Formula and bottle of Flaxseed Oil.

But I have not yet tested it on myself or anyone else at this point.

Chloe, I thought I recognized this thread (started by me).  Actually, I ordered a bunch of supplements in December, after we all talked about the supps that Dr. D takes regularly and from time to time.  I ordered two of the new Warrior 3-packs.  It came with the CLA oil.  That stuff is great!  Love the taste, probably due to the macadamia oil, a neutral for me.  Honestly, I don't really notice anything different when I take his supplements, except for the Trehalose, which acts like some kind of speed to me, and I don't really like that feeling.  Oh, also the Tranquility Base makes me feel kinda stoned.

I'm doing really well on my diet so far since retiring first of the year.  I've gone down from 245 to 232, which is kinda amazing since I did a few days in a row of red meat cheating after feeling rather stressed (about 12 days into it).  Not really doing a washout anymore since that happened, just trying to keep things as compliant as possible, but I am human after all.  Getting out there during sunny days (which we've had quite a few this month) and getting some exercise helps quite a bit, I'm sure.  Glad you bumped this thread, it was nice going back down memory lane.

My Activator and Catalyst I recently ordered seem to be the old formula.  Are you saying that those two supps for Warriors will contain Trehalose in the future?

No.

I am saying that that the activator and catalyst product will be eliminated entirely in the near future.  If you want continue to take those formulations you should stock up now.

Soon D'Adamo Personalized Nutrition will introduce a new formulation for warriors.  This product has not been released yet, so I do not know what it will contain. It may or may not contain trehalose when it is released.

Chloe... I just checked Dr. D's store (the link at the top) and couldn't find what you are referring to regarding different ingredients.  They are not listing the ingredients at all any more.  What link did you go to?

Also, if you click Products and Services (top of this page) and then click Genotype Formulas, you are directed to a page that says Not Found.

Looks like Warrior and Nomad still have Activator/Catalyst and everyone else has the new Formulas.  Will these two genotypes get new formulas, too?

Read above...C sharp answered your question...All  genotype products will be re=formulated when supplies of current products are depleted.

One supplement I take daily is magnesium.  I don't think any of the vast majority of food people eat today especially in well developed countries has anywhere near the nutritional value it once did.  And then lifestyle factors deplete nutrients even more.

Even the meats are stripped unless wild game meats are eaten.  The energy in the food is there, but the nutrients in them may not be enough.  So people are hungry all the time and eat dense foods, but still don't get the nutrients needed, even eating what appears to be healthy food.

I am definitely pro supplement regardless of diet!!

Yeah, I think if I was going to take as few supps as possible, it'd be magnesium and B-12, without a doubt. For the most part, most days, I don't take anything but those two. When I remember, I take a Deflect and Polyflora. If I drink a little too much wine, I pop an N-acetyl cysteine and milk thistle.

I just compared the old Teacher's formula to the new version and saccharomyces cerevisiae is missing from
the new formula.  My solution would be to just add some nutritional yeast to my water when I swallow the new
Teacher pill...Also thiamine was in the old formula....The nutritional yeast covers me there too...so all is good...
Ordered the new version, waiting for shipment.

I find bacopa to be very effective for me.  It is recommended esp. For A's and also B.  If I use an herb I will just use one at a time usually.  Bacopa seems to help my stress response and yet not cause drowsiness or any unwanted effects at all.  It does seem to cause very mild nausea and constipation physically, that's the only drawback.  I hope with time it will go away.  It also seems to curb appetite, perhaps a reduction in cortisol?

I eat pretty healthy, but I would not say I am 100 percent compliant with all protocols that I follow, which is the Explorer gtd.  Even if I did, I would still take magnesium for sure and other recommended gtd or btd herbs.

so I now take just magnesium and bacopa currently.
