Rice & mustard greens are ok (2 of several)
and then the Menopause ER4YT Health Series book says no rice and no mustard greens.
there are other differences too.. BUT
I have put that I am in Menopause on my Swami so... what to follow?
Swami is the advanced science right?
Also on my Swami.. if I put in my weight as it is now.. several foods become total Avoids. Not black dots.. but TOTAL AVOIDS.
If I put in my weight as it should be - all those foods come back some as beneficials.
So I can only assume that they are total avoids because they do not help me loose weight?

Your physical health (i.e. weight) will affect how SWAMI rates food.
If you wish to focus more narrowly on menopausal issues you could give greater weight to the health series book, but also remember that it does not use epigenetic or personal factors. |

SWAMI has calculated your menopausal symptoms along with your personal and family health history and your genotype. Based on all those factors together, rice and mustard greens are fine for you. If the only two factors to consider were menopause and blood type, those two foods would not be OK- but SWAMI is way more complex than that. |

I say you follow swami to the T
swami has all health series books factored in, but the end result is a personalized plan according to your input |

What does your SWAMI say about soy milk? If diamond, it is good for weight loss as well as healing. If it is beneficial, it is healing. If neutral, it is food. If it is black dot, it is a food that is probably not great for you. If avoid, it is poison. |

Soy milk will help some women with menopausal symptoms- but not all. That's why all those studies are inconclusive.
The whole point of SWAMI is to end the guessing games. While there's value in doing additional research on your own, you don't need to change what you're eating every time you read a new study. You have a list of which foods are good for you personally, and which ones are not. If soy is neutral, black dot, or avoid, then look to something else to balance out your hormones. |

Compare soy products to flax seeds on your food list. Freshly ground flax can be stunningly effective for some women. We are all individuals. |

Explorers don't do well on soy. Soy is not for everyone. I like it, but it's not the best for me. Even though I'm half A. |

Do you mix them into something or just eat them straight? |

Flax is only a neutral for me, but I have been eating it for so many years with such wonderful results, I was told to keep eating it - by all means! I have it every morning in my concoctions. |
