I cannot find regular potatoes on my swami only Sweet Potatoes and Yams, and there is a cofusion about Seas Vegetables. Isn't Kelp and Wakame the same thing? Only different cut or shapes of it? And why can't I have the Sprouted Breads anymore? Somebody please help. |

Potato, White with Skin look twice make your own sprouted bread using compliant ingredients store bought contains added gluten read ingredients best there is in fact a rational for every value given to you, depending on variables and health issues Epigenotoxin (Anti-Metabolomic: Intracellular Toxin/Growth Factor Disruption) or Anti-Glycomic: Glycotoxin/ Glycosylation Disruption) or other examples all been factored into the software.......try accepting instead of resisting every avoid.....swami knows why! |

Regular potato entry is in Live foods "Potato, White with Skin"
Wakame--Undaria pinnatifida
kelp is a whole lot of species
SWAMI considered many factors in rating sprouted bread for you. Without knowing your entire biological history we will have a difficult time figuring out why a particular food is rated a particular way for a particular person.

It's hard to make your own with compliant ingredients if all sprouted grains are listed as "avoids"!!! If you can't find any ready-made breads that are compliant for you, you have a few options. You can stop eating bread, and get your grain portions from whole cooked compliant grains. You can buy compliant ingredients and bake your own. Or you can take a look at what breads are available in your local stores and make some compromises. I don't really recommend the last one- with all the struggling you've been doing getting back on track, I think it's wisest if you can find compliant foods to eat at home, even if you're not ready to be compliant in restaurants or friend's homes yet. If you want to share your list of grains, I can help you brainstorm bread recipes and help you decide which compromises are the least toxic. |

And I noticed that I went from 48% to 46% Nomad. SO I will have to redo all those foods again. Oh well, whoever thinks live is perfect as is, is in for a surprise. |

So what grains are on your beneficial (including diamonds) and neutral lists? I can help you with bread ideas if you'd like. |

Just be sure and read the labels for the full ingredients disclosure. Sometimes the name of a bread is a misrepresentation. For example, a sprouted wheat bread can have whole wheat flour sometimes listed in addition to the sprouted grain. |

Another question. I have Peas in the Vegetable Proteins Category, but no measurement for these. They have seeds, nuts 1/2 cup and nut butters 2 Tbls. Where do my sweet peas fit in? Should I treat them as Live Foods and count a cup per serving? |

The peas are a seed. A serving is 1/2 cup. |

You have spelt as a superfood. You can use spelt flour in place of wheat flour in any bread recipe, but the dough will be a little more fragile.
I've given long commentaries on bread baking in the past- I'm sure you can find my old posts on this forum via the search feature. Try looking for words such as "bake" or "baking" and I suggest you limit the search to the "cook right for your type" subforum. |
