I've heard swami is updating soon. I think I heard that we will be able to click on each food in the lists for details about them like typebase. I just wanted to say that for those of us on here that are always wanting to know why this why that I hope Dr D will make it to where we can get more detailed information on why the avoids are bad for us. I still don't really understand words like polyamine and indican so maybe simpler terms or a broader explanation. I know my swami has tomatoes as a bennie and the juice as an avoid and I don't know why. I've seen a lot of people question things like this (olive oil and olives, etc). I would also like to see items getting flagged for example if I change several factors like joint pain, fatigue etc and some foods change from bennie to avoid itd be great to know what has specifically made that food value change. I love my swami and I know its imperfect just wanted to put my two cents in. Personally I'm so excited for the update since I'm one that can't let the WHY to anything go. I always have to know everything I can cram into my head. I would love to be able to add my family members since I can't afford more swamis. I especially want my MIL to have this software. I found this diet because of her and I would love to see her fibromyalgia go away. I've been learning to bake gluten free for awhile even though I can have some wheat. I wanted to learn for her and I'm hoping once this is released she can be coaxed to it. Anyway, thank you Dr D I know you work hard on this.

Very likely allergic to dairy, gluten makes me moody, caffeine makes my heart race, fragrances give me hives and headaches..I shouldve known I'm an Explorer. Swami knows best.

There is a new version of SWAMI (XP2) that is in final testing. It allows multiple intakes (i.e. family members) and generates merged diets. It will simply
replace your existing version one fine day.

do not know about the other you mention

Fibro needs to look at magnesium especially.

I think your ideas are good. There are a large number of permutations in SWAMI. I don't know that it is feasible to reveal every input decision. There are hundreds of inputs for each food. Something about what you did with the data made a food jump because the software determined something about the food was more important than other characteristics of the food.

My guess is that some tomatoes are ok for you (and some type O's) because they thicken the blood a bit. The juice is heavily concentrated, maybe that's why.

Tomatoes can be inflammatory.
I would think if you checked joint pain or arthritis they may move to avoid.

Joint pain definitely puts tomatoes as an avoid for me.

proliamines/impurities  and indican color levels are the clouding in urine.. they used to use urine in a doctors lab and over a flame see what settled.. was near instantly available for doctors and patients to determine the status of the body, kidneys, and who knows what else.. ..

sorry to say they no longer do this.. at a great loss to all of us..

yes words are a problem, but I do hope that you would just Google them and learn something new every so often..

Being here is invaluable, but not enough. We need ALL the Doctors. I needed them for a very small cancer spot-I could never feel!!! Please do your mammograms! Doing so saved me from cancer later on. I am grateful! Thanks for learning from my experience! I was lucky! I wish the same for YOU!

I'm pretty sure that you'll still need to pay for a separate SWAMI for each family member; the update is the ability to merge 2 or more SWAMI reports for menu planning.

A lot of the explanations are going to be more than most people are comfortable with with learning. They will just reject the complexity.

First, you have to run SWAMI with the intake box discussing length of report set to "Not Abbreviated" or "Full report".  The Genotype % is then on page 4 of the report under "Results".

We all want to get it, but we don't want it before it works well...  The worse thing, for customer support as well as customer satisfaction, is to release it too soon.  Please be patient as they finish testing so you get a good product.
